ok..im not big with computers..if i posted a link,but really wanted the picture to be up front that

OK..if i posted a link on a thread and i wanted the picture that is on the link to be with the link,and not just the link do you know how i would do that?/ do i have to paste some how...

ok..there is a post on here with pictures of the galaxies..He has a huge picture on his post and then the link...How would i do that..Check it out..

I think i know what you mean, do you mean embedding the picture on the thread rather than people having to click on the link? I cant help you tho, ive read how to do it, and being a computer imbecile, its far to complicated for me, I wish i did no though, it looks far better than a link.

Copy the pic on the link to a file on your computer and the go to ATS uploads, select the file folder you just put the foto in, select the photo, copy where it says use in post pic]filename[/pic] and put in your post.

Hope this is clear.

Click on the image.

Save it.

Got too Tools.

Click ATS Uploads.



Click this



Browse to the folder you saved the picture.

upload it.

When the image loads, click it.



Highlight whatever kind you want and paste it into the post.

Im pretty sure that just creates an image bar. You want embedded images, right?

Yes but not my own picture..Look at the thread about the space pics..Please come back....that's what im tring to do

you cannot use pictures on ATS that are not hosted on the ATS media server (as shown above).

Put a picture in your article as everyone described above (after uploading it to the tools/upload an image).
The put the code in (by clicking on the image from the upload area) for the pic.
Then the trick is to put a link above the picture just how I did with the google link. Now take the end of the link away where it says [/url] and move it underneath your picture code. Now you pic will be linked too.

He wants to embed pictures from other sites like you can with youtube videos. Not hosted on ats.

Get screenhunter, or right-click the image, then save it to your computer, then upload it to ATS.
