Thanks for the infor. I myself have never fired the Johnson, and may never get the chance. You are lucky to have had fired a weapon with such history. It is like having a Winchester 73 or parker Double, or the Luger #1 so many great weapons from the past..

Yea, same here. But only in 28 gauge, I had a 28 when I was young, like a fool I traded it off. Now I have been trying to replace it but so far I can't come up with the money for a Stevens.

I never did post an "if I could" response. I think that I'd select an old friend; a M1918A2 BAR. It weighed in at 19 pounds, less magazine, but had the advantages of working when dirty and putting out a serious rifle round. Rifle or the heavier machine gun ammunition could be used. It could move you around on full auto but was easy to control with short bursts or semi auto fire. The weight reduced felt recoil. Firing off hand at the range on semi-auto, 10's and x-ring shots were easy.

Thanks to all that have posted about what you would wish to add into your collection, some nice weapons new and old.
Keep in touch and keep those rounds going down range!

I think that I'd have to go for this -

The British Accuracy International AS50 BMG Sniper Rifle

A British built semi-automatic sniper rifle that can take out an APC from over a mile away? Yes please!

I saw this on future weapons on discovery (the link above has footage from the show.)

Awesome gun

For a shotgun, a Holland & Holland 12 gauge.
Pistol, a Mateba Model 6, .375 with a 6" barrel. Brushed steel finish and red duster coat optional!

Rifle, Holland & Holland again...a .375 Centenary.
