Definitely a collision involved there, the accompanying bang as the object bounces away is too much of a coincidence.

which makes it not an alien ship unfortunately.

LOL...."unfortunately." I know...it would be nice to have some real excitement around here for a change....

As the UFO goes across the screen (about 1.30m) there is a definite sound of a collision as the object reaches the end of the screen at the 1.34 mark.
I think it is something behind the camera reflected in the screen.
Anyone else notice.

A sure collision there , throws that piece of space junk into a new trajectory now .

Interesting video, I thought everyone was anticipating China's entry into space would reveal all sorts of things....seems to be just like their Earthly-UFO reports!

Very strange in any case. And I'm sure we will never know as usual.

Wasn't me....in NZ right now!

That appears to be an artifact or something on the camera that is visible when the light goes through it.

Working in the spacecraft industry for the past 18 years, it appears to be an umbilical that connected the spacecraft to the rocket body. These umbilici are used while the spacecraft is mated to the rocket for power and telemetry while in the launch sequence. When the craft separates from the rocket body, these umbilici can be sheared off and do not always stay attached to the rocket body. Here is a photo of a typical umbilical for a spacecraft

Notice its shape closely resembles what is being seen in the video.

If the craft was manned, I'd say someone just flushed a toilet!

Looks like a wing glider.

I'm no expert but if the rocket was already released shouldn't the satelite be in the same orbit speed as the "spacejunk" or the spacejunk would be slower ?

yes indeed there are aliens gliding around in space on a wing glider made of nylon and sticks.

lol

It was a piece of space junk that hit the Chinese . During the fly around of Atlantis earlier this year , there was also a piece of space junk that hit or came close to hitting the ISS .
