The photos are not the proof by themselves. The facts with the photos are the proof, i.e.if your seeing a boat moon at the 36th parallel be it north or south of the equator there is something wrong!!!! It is only supposed to be a boat moon NO MORE THAN 12-17 degrees MAXIMUN from the equator( north or south of it ) from our perspective... Look it up..

this was my first post, i never said anything that the op's photos are fake.
I only stated this is normal, for me, as i've been watching and photographing the moon for years now(can't remember how long, 15-20 years i guess)

And my avatar i took it myself, not google.

I have tried to look it up...everything I come back with states it can be BOAT at your latitude...now please post something that definitively states it cannot...please...

Yes, the last shot is from 2 hours ago.The moon is the same as in your photo

And I have seen a Moon that was like that, back around the time of the 2004 Earthquake/Tsunami of SE Asia...there was nothing wrong then...and there is nothing wrong now...I am at 41 degrees latitude...

Again, as I pointed out to you a few pages back, the Moon's orbital plane dies NOT line up with Earth's equator, so why do you keep talking about the earth's equator as is it is relevant to your argument?

As the Earth rotates around in a 24-hour period, the 36th parallel dips very close to the Moon's orbital plane. Therefore, at times the Moon will be setting almost directly to the west, and the full effect of seeing a "boat-like Moon" should be extremely noticeable.

Therefore, as you can see by the above graphic, it is entirely normal for the Moon to be setting with a boat-like appearance (at least while in its 1st quarter phase) at certain times of the year.

why can't you debunkers just admit it? Put your irritating factual information away and come clean:

1.) The moon is flipping on a regular basis, which can be linked to birds falling from the sky and freak earthquakes
2.) No official MSM or astronomers will confirm it as they're all being paid off with lifetime supplies of Cosher certified cola
3.) The moon flipping is intended as another Elenin-type smokescreen to distract us from YU55 plowing into us in 4 days

Then you confirm what I have said and the pics are also in agreement. We are both seeing the boat moon from our vantage point , too far north for it to appear as a boat or cheshilre moon. It should not be boat any further than 12-17 degrees north of the equator ( from our vantage point ) and we are at least 36 + degrees north of the equator..

For the last and final time...it is not too far north to appear like that...are you being purposefully obtuse??? There has been ample opportunity for you to post credible, scientific evidence stating it is impossible for it to appear that way at your latitude...so far, all we have is your clear photographic evidence that proves it is in fact possible for it to appear that way...Your understanding of the math and the position of the Moon relative to the surface of the Earth is lacking...that is all...

Can you add? 23.5 degrees + 5 degrees or -5 degrees = 28.5 degrees or 18.5 degrees . That's where the sun with the moon are at the summer and winter solstice. At all other times they are less than that. Diagram this. Make some sense.

Did you look at the diagram posted? The plane of the Moon's orbit around the Earth can be very easily imagined if you look at the diagram...and you can clearly see the Moon would be visible as a BOAT even in Vegas or in my area...which is further north...Your addition of the degrees have NOTHING to do with it...
