Republican National Convention...this is getting lame now!

They just did a piece of how great Ronald Regan was. Playing off people's emotions torward a man that is not even alive in order to gain sympathy for George Bush...

Is this disturbing to anyone else? Total lack of class if you ask me. They say it was a tribute to him...yeah right! This was a blatent attempt to gain support from Regan's death, and people who liked him.

This is making me mad, and I rarely get mad!

Reagan JUST died, and was alive for nearly 100 years.
A lot of Members from BOTH parties appreciated him.
It was a Tribute by the PARTY to which he belonged, and made
the most progress..

I understand that, but this is such an attempt to gain sympathy for Bush, and I could just smell the propaganda leeking off that film. It's ok to to tributes, but this went far and above just that.

You are right though, I need to stop watching the convention for now.
PS- I would not approve of this if the Democrats did it either. I'm not a fan of Regan, but this is wrong.

Tribute my "you know what"!

He was a hero to that party and was admired by those not Republican, and he had a long legacy and he passed away recently. He deserved a tribute, any icon for a party who was like him deserves a tribute. If ya don;t like it change the channel to something else.

I did't complain about the DNC since I chose not to watch it.

At this point both sides will pull anything they can out of their bag of tricks. It is Cutthroat. I have a feeling its going to get a lot worse and both sides are going to be at each other's throats. Gonna get real messy in days ahead.

I'm still watching...its just too facinating. Some lame duck they have on there right now sounds and looks like a Satanic preacher, and is totally going off the wall on Kerry. What is this stuff?

They berate Kerry to no end, but I still haven't seen a single issue or policy raised...such as in "We plan to do this....etc." I just hope the media is going to see this convention for exactly what it is....

Quite right...I agree wholeheartedly. I'm really thinking about "wasting" my vote and voting for Badnarak (sp?). At least I'll know I didn't vote for skull or bones.

Yes, I didn't know his name until they just mentioned it. I'm seriously sitting here trying to decided what my mood is watching this. On one hand I want to burst out laughing at these fools, and on the other hand they make me furious. Interesting though, I haven't been this mad about something someone has said in years. Sitting here thinking the same thing my friend. Actually at least Cheney is a very intellegent man. Don't like him one bit but I think at least he should've been president instead of the monkey.

Mac...good point. Its quite an interesting change, Zell Miller to Dick Cheney I never thought that anyone would make Cheney come across as a nicer guy, but this Miller guy has definitely done that. Just looking into that mans eyes (Miller) gives me the creeps...
