The submitter claims that this video is of a UFO taken in New Zealand. It was uploaded this month, but no date is given as to when the video was taken, but it is probably very recently.

Some believe this is a great clip of an oval-shaped object, some believe it was created on a graphics program.

Check it out and see what you think.

So what do you think? I really have no idea, so I'll offer a few guesses...

While I am not directly sure what the thing could be, a UFO balloon on a tether is a possibility as well. It seems pretty stationary, and with the fact he seems to get it from multiple angles that ballon theory would make that possible.

I wasn't too sure of what this could be so I thought I would bring it here for other's opinions.

Any thoughts?

Fake, they made the same mistake that most CGI artists make when making these types of videos. You can see it best in the beginning and more so while it goes on. The cameraman zooms in on something that is not there while keeping the "UFO" outside the center. Normally when people film things they tend to keep in in the middle of the frame and if anything they tend to zoom in too far and not get things in the area for perspective.
Plus all the weird cuts.angles and bad blur effect. Is the camera man 1 foot tall or something?

IMO, it's cgi.

He never keeps it in the centre of view, and moves the camera too much if he were focused on the object. He doesn't shake the camera too much so he's obviously able to keep the object in view, yet as he can't actually see it, he's panning slightly, and there is no central point of view.

The clips are short. Why cut so many times, from view to view?

My opinion is he did this because it shortens each render time. A long scene takes a long time. So shorter clips, put together as if to show the object from multiple locations, makes more sense.

And then there's the eery sound track....

A demo, someone really focusing on depth of field techniques. You ever shoot something at random from that low of an angle with the perfect blade of grass in front (look, it's far away!!!)!? Prob. a student project.

Opinion, and suspicion: Whoever made this video tried way too hard to go through the 1, 2, 3s of reference points, perspective, objects passing in front of the video subject, focusing and unfocusing, and other such as if the videographer is doing all of it on purpose, per rehearsal, as staged.

Further, the Casio drum instrument noise accompanyment, or any added sound, or graphics to any video other than just raw video is immediately suspicious.

The floating object also looks TOO clear compared to rest of video grain/resolution in some places.

I'm not saying it is, or isn't. I am however saying that this rates high on the stink-o-meter.

To me this doesn't look like cgi at all, but I am no expert. I think it looks more like something that has been physically constructed specifically for this video. It actually just looks kind of silly imo.

Looks like an RC toy to me. Look at 0:49. Also, it's wobbling quite a bit. And why in the world would he stop filming and not keep filming until it leaves. And where the heck is the Air Force, intercepting it? I assume NZ has an Air Force?
But then again, the title says: "Absolute 100% proof positive that UFOs exist" and it's on Youtube, well, then it must be true!

what gets me the most is if u had a real ufo then even taking for the nerves u would keep it in view, maybe not so much in focus but u certainly wouldn,t point your camera to the ground.

Sorry, but the video was screaming 'I'M FAKE!!' right from the start.

The weird music he added and the long title at the start.
He wasn't saying a thing while filming.

I had to laugh at his filming postion from the grass!

I would say fake. He has way to many to many reference points, like others have said. At times it sounds as though it was put in slow motion for a more "cinematic" feel. The craft appears much to clear to actually be at the scene of the video. And lastly, most UFO sightings with a video, the recorder usually has to say "What the hell is that?"

But hell, what do I know. Just my 2 cents

As someone who's worked camera's professionally before...I have to say...Well Said!

You noticed the same things I did....Plus a couple I didn't such as the 'zoom' thing. Mainly for me...the odd angles (why set the camera on the ground?!) The odd cuts....why get a UFO in perfect focus, then shut off the camera to get a new angle....most people would just stick with it the whole time and capture as much footage as possible rather than constantly shutting it off and moving into a new position. Yeah...I'd definitely say this is a fake. Not a bad one though....Better than a great majority of the fake videos out there.....

They could have used a different model.

This video was also posted on that YouTube channel.

If you have to ask........it's fake.
He just casually walks outside and points his camera up directly at it. If it were really a true UFO i seriously doubt the photographer would have been walking and just happen to point it straight at it from multiple angles.

Agreed.

With real UFOs people are usually scrambling to zoom in or stabilize on the object, not duck or whatever is going on in this video when it appears.
