What I find incredible about this whole thing is that democracy takes a back seat to the ruling classes and bankers, and it rarely even gets a mention in the press. Greek's Prime Minisiter Papandreou being pilloried by other countries and the media for wanting the people to get involved is just the latest example.

A couple of weeks ago, Slovakia voted against the latest version of the European bailout fund, yet they were forced to vote again until they came up with the right answer.

Years ago Ireland voted against the Maastricht treaty, and they also were made to vote again until they got the right answer. They also voted against the Treaty of Nice in 1999, and were forced to vote again after a massive media campaign.

Denmark also voted against the Maastricht treaty, yet another referendum was held after about a year and it got up.

Iceland famously stood up to the EU and the bankers by refusing to bail out the banks and their own economy in 2010 and 2011 in one of the rare cases of a Government putting its people first, but they are now financial outcasts and doing it tough.

It's an interesting phenomenon that is rarely reported on by the media. It's either going to end up with a total EU dictatorship overruling the sovereignty of each member country, or revolution as the people finally wake up to what is happening and try to get themselves out of the EU. Given the lack of anger at the EU trampling over people's rights in the past, I would say all out dictatorship is the most likely scenario.

It's something basic you learn as a kid. ..

...You break a window, you pay for it.
...You lose a schoolbook, you pay for it.
...You get drunk and drive into someone else's car you pay for it.
...You vote in a socialist Government you pay for it.

So, no sympathy for Greece and its debt and I condemn the offers of dough for Greece. it is clear that the cash should be taken out of Greece by any means. If they have to seiqe Greek assets abroad, such as pGreek citizens cars, houses, clothes etc, then do it. They owe the cash, they pay up.

The Greeks don't have a socialist government.
