I`m usually skeptical about things like this but the film does present some interesting evidence.

I'm usually sceptical of threads that pretty much only consist of a link to a video.

Seeing as how this documentary deals with--among other things--The Scole Experiment, I'd have to say this might be worth watching.

I also have to say that I don't think these folk understand what they are dealing with, but that doesn't make it any less 'real' if, that is, the scientists and researchers weren't the victims of an elaborate scheme.

In the world of the Paranormal, however, this widely unknown experiment does stand, so far, as best evidence.

I personally believe they are having their heads 'screwed with" by the demonic so: Play with this stuff at your own psychic risk.

Let us know what you think. It was interesting to see the some of the folk involved after having read the materials previously.

I found the soccer mom medium's 'reading' after the investigator's death rather fascinating too.

It's a shame more members didn't find this thread--maybe it will pick up some steam.

What a nice documentary. The part about Thomas Edison is amazing.

What about the image they got on a video I think it was, an entity looked like a grey alien but in white?

I wish they had elaborated a little on that device that was linked to Edison. I know they said the spirits told them it would enhance their ability to communicate...and I think they said it did?

I stayed up late and watched the whole thing - complete with ads every 10 or 15 minutes.

It's one and 1/2 hours on the "Scole Experiment" spiced up with a few other experiences and ideas.

To me, it was a bit of a grind. They only had a limited number of useful images and audio, apparently, and they kept playing them over and over.

What these experiments demonstrate to me is the reality of various forms of spiritual communication. And if you have spirits who can write in various earth languages, reproduce various earth images, etc., then you have everything else implied by that.

They talked a lot about "the other side," but they had precious little data about it. Fact is, it's something most people don't like to talk about, even if they can remember the experience.

I have studied hours of videos and hundreds of pages of transcripts and descriptions of similar phenomena. The source of consciousness responsible for most of the reported phenomena could be generally described as the "community of advanced beings." Many of the beings they talked to in the Scole Experiment were self-described scientists. All "advanced beings" I have ever seen conversation transcripts for were extremely well-versed in physics, etc. They, then, are the ones most likely to possess the technologies required to manifest all these phenomena. If we are to trust their own words, they have extensive records of earth's full history and could successfully imitate the voice, writing, and interests of any prominent person who has ever existed on this planet. They have extensive control of materialization and similar phenomena, as demonstrated in this video.

I have no doubt that they were recording communications with spiritual beings. Whether those beings were 100% honest with their audiences about who they were and where they came from is another matter.

You mean something else apart from the spirits of deceased people?
Because I thought that also. You have to think these things. Still, I'm amazed at this experiment.

Hey there GUT. You were right, that was worth watching. I wasn't familiar with that investigation. There were some pretty impressive things, however I'm not entirely convinced that there was no way some of it couldn't be hoaxed. It seemed that the 'scientists' and 'experts' behaved rather more like believers to me, but that's just my take.

I do believe in this kind of phenomena and as you know already I agree with you about its demonic source. In fact, I have no doubt about that in the context of my own experiences.

I will have to say that I have never heard such clear recordings of supposed spirit voices though.

Good to see you my friend! I totally agree that there is still room for more down to earth explanations. My spidey-sense did particularly tingle in regards to the thin mustachioed medium.

But I have also come to believe that in many paranormal cases--including ufo contactees--that there is a subtle dance--a collaboration--between the 'spirits' and the earthbound experiencer that sometimes includes a mix of fakery and real.

Your observation of the interviewed scientists as 'true believers' has to be taken into consideration. Not much gets by you, dude.

So, I guess where I land on this one is general acceptance that the spirit world was probably involved, but some of the mechanics might have involved human 'help.'

Whatever the reality, it's fascinating and is some of the best evidence I've come across. The vid is definitely worth a watch, but I highly recommend the transcript of the speech given at the SPR on The Scole Experiment website.

I always thought that a good investigation of the afterlife might be possible if you can convince a bunch of people who are going to die soon to memorize a piece of a puzzle or something that can only be put together once everybody is dead. I'm not sure how it would work, exactly.

Maybe somebody can go to a nursing home or hospice and gather some volunteers to blast a coded signal or something back from beyond. There are all kinds of things that can go wrong, of course, including the ghost or spirit of the person deciding that they didn't want to cooperate after all, since playing around with Earth is so comparatively boring. But it might be worth a try.

This is my first time hearing of the "Scole experiments" or Marcello Bacci and I am pretty astonished. I think this is really amazing evidence. I would like to trust the PRS' scientists in being thorough in their investigations, but as a skeptic, there were several red flags I picked up on from watching this video (although this video is all that I know of the experiment.)

Why could they not use nightvision cameras to record the experiments? If it inhibits paranormal activity, then why did the spirits not make note of it when the makers of this documentary left their camera recording anyways?

I like that the investigators used their own rolls of film and made sure they did not exchange hands or anything, but I am very disappointed and suspicious that they did not provide their own machine with which to develop the film on and their own video camera during the one investigation (instead of their own video tape).

I would like to know more about spirit Edison's machine and if the coded messages have ever been solved. I'm not sure why alien-looking figures showed up but the video with the close-up blinking face was extremely creepy.

I have always wanted to know why spirits are unreliable in communication, and often provide random EVPs that don't appear to show much intelligence. I think that would be one of my first questions if I were involved in this experiment.

Just watched this video on netflix. I'm agnostic and tend to believe that we are just energy. Physics says that energy can't be created nor destroyed just transferred. So I can see how this could happen.

One of the most Interesting documentaries I have seen and what appears to be scientifically controlled with actual evidence .

Some of the things that stuck out at me:

One of the conversions with someone on the other side

LIFE IS a SENSELESS moment
but spiritual sensibility
is the sensibility of the heart
dear mothers
we have made many attempts
to try and get close to you

The part that stuck out at me is that LIFE is a senseless moment. Makes me think that perhaps living is just a temporary insignificant moment of transition.

Another thing that was side from the other side was

here we live in another dimension

Prior to this statement and near the middle of the film when they were showing pictures of people from the other side in a controlled environment: one of the pictures that was shown was of the typical grey alien that we are familiar with.

Other interesting statement made from the suppose other side were:

we are the spirit of timestream

Once we cross over to the other side we will have the answers to all our questions.

I wished they would have asked more details about the afterlife and about God and such. However , it appears that was kind of limits by one of the statements made . Something along the lines that was all they could say in regards to the afterlife.

Ofcourse I'm still skeptical because its so out of the ordinary and because of another gazillion reasons, but WOW.

In regards to the Demonic thing, not sure what to make of it, but it did cross my mind? However, like I said I think we are energy and we just get transferred and I don't tend to believe on this epic battle of good versus evil. Nor do I think their is evil or good in the world sometimes , just existence and experiences that we take back to the universal energy bin.

Did they continue their research? If it was a hoaxed or faked they sure went to allot of trouble. Curious to read about the professional skeptics point of views on this one.

Anything can be faked and I still don't fully believe it, but that did appear to be one of the most convincing documentary in regards to the after life that i have seen.

He also made a good point that I thought about as well. Where is the follow up to those amazing discoveries if they were real?
