3 Days of Darkness

Hey ATS, this is actually my first thread soo nice to meet you guys!

But anyway about the 3 days of darkness conspiracy..

I'm not saying this is the end of the world or anything but I mean come on there's gonna be a WWIII eventually if something dramatic doesnt happen to stop all this conflict and collapse. Dates dont mean anything to me, besides 11/11/11, 12/12/12 so this could be the beginning of the 3 days of darkness? I was expecting an EMP or something of that sort but I'm keeping an open mind you know?

Just throwing out some food for thought.

Just a thought on the 3 days of darkness. When I was a child I was told this story. How I remember it:

Suddenly darkness falls across the land. People are supposed to huddle together over a holy candle and pray for those 3 days. In those 3 days, the only light that will be given off will be from those candles.

Evil spirits will try to pull people away from their prayers and ?kill/slay/something? them? They will use loved ones voices, and all that to lure them away to their demise.

I dont remember too much of it but it did always stay in the back of my mind as a "what if it happened" sorta thing. All I remember was that you were supposed to get a holy candle from church... Yes, sorry, chatholic church only "I believe", as this is a chatholic prophecy, isnt it? This is supposed to be a trial of faith. Those that dont stay huddled over their candle in prayer are supposed to meet some very violent fate at the hands of demonds, but I'm not sure about this one. There was also something about people seeing themselves as GOD sees them for 7 days. Many will kill themselves cause of what they see, many will die of hearaches, and so forth and do on. I'm not really sure if this has any connection to the 3 days though.


Interesting subject! I'm just not sure where it actually came from and if it's a real deal in the church. I know many chatholics know and believe this, but I'm not sure if the church itself stands behind this.

But to respond to one of your main points... If this were to happen, I dont believe it would be anything less than an unexplainable event that no one had an answer to.

Hmm now that I'm thinking more about this. I think there was supposed to be stages of things taking place. Like 7 days of GODs warning, showing you how he sees you. Then a miracle that no one can deny. Something everyone all over the world will see. Then after, the 3 days of darkness. "I think" this is how it's supposed to go.


But again, if it did happen, I would say that it would not be by man's hands. I used to wonder what events or actions (polar shift) could cause 3 whole days of darkness (nibiru covers the sun, comet dust, etc). I dont think it would be a metaphore either. For the "Dark Ages" lasted so much longer!

Yea you have some good points, also the 3 days of darkness would be much more wide spread then just upper east coast america haha. And I dont intend to bash your religion, if you are still faithful, but it always seems like the "God" is very violent and revengeful for not believing in him. But I also believe most religions/faiths are intertwined in some way, just interrupted and understood differently. Most religions seem to have similar prophesies. So the story you remember could just be another interpretation of something to come? Only time can tell

There is another refrence. Thanks for this info though. I'm wondering now if the 3days I have heard of maybe possibly stems or even relates to that same story. I know there is more info about it because I seen something on it over the last years. I want to say it's tied to a prophecy from either medigoria (sp) or related to the prophecy ... oh this is where names falter in my mind.

As you can see BelowPublicKnowledge, I was born and raised such, but I dont know what I practice anymore. I dont even know if I believe, my friend. Far too much bothers me these days, and I just dont feel that divine love like I used to. Too much sadness and stupidity around me to feel that something or someone is there to help you out of it when you're at your lowest. So far, I only see the 4 mud walls around me and the dim shade of light above... way way way above.

Though... that, my friend, is for another thread... or even just for my own personal thoughts.

Let me look around. I'm sure I can find that prophecy again. It's been a long time, but the internet doesnt loose anything Just takes longer to find it. heh

It is difficult to determine which of the prophecies are the closest to the original source but I guess it doesn't really matter much. And I think new prophecies are being created for future generations of humans.

A few refrences... Though I think not all of these will be credible, I will at least put one I feel is more credible than the rest.

I would agree with that, mine is only an intuitive aspect, one of many. It may not be a natural disaster, just evolution. It could be anything from economic crisis to increasing awareness, You are as you are with me, what you are elsewhere I cannot see, what I cannot see, I cannot say, but I still love you anyway.

I respect and appreciate all the contributions made by ATS members. It is only in the individuality of one can we unite to become the whole.

I just remembered a book I read ages ago written by a young woman, a catholic nun who spoke many times with the Virgin Mary. The book was mainly filled with quite alot of photos and mixed it up with the nuns diary over the years. I have looked all over the internet to find it but without knowing her name or the title of the book I have had no success.

3 days of darkness would equate to 72 hours of no sunlight or moonlight... but since nobody is to open a window or door to see any ambient light... we (who are witness to the 3 days) are forced to not prove the prophecy is true & factual...but to hide inside black draped windows & pray


IF there were are 72 hour long absence of Sunlight, there would be a corresponding absence of light reflected from the Moon... which would be accomplished even easier during the New Moon Period when the Moon is dark anyhow...

so i would circle all the New Moon phases on my annual calendar & prepare for a possible 3 days of darkness event every month of every year, for as long as i were able to be aware


this sounds like a twist on the Christ lying in Death for the 3 days before the resurrection... to me

just so much flabbergasting super-naturalism to bewilder the masses, that my opinion




but we do have a contemporary narrative...
it was a movie called 'The Day The Earth Stood Still"
when all electricity went out on the planet for 24 hours---
it was unexpected to the masses--- but forewarned to the world leaders


so a 3 day power grid collapse would be equated to a time without power or light...i.e.= 'darkness'
could very well occur without any super-natural driving force

Biblically there is no reference to 3 days of darkness (save in Exodus, referring to an instance where there was darkness over Egypt - but this is historical, not future).

Revelation talks about darkness following the opening of the sixth seal (Revelation 6:12). It says that "there was a great earthquake. The sun turned black, like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind."

This, however, doesn't specify three days... nor is this in reference to something that occurs at this period in time. These verses were quoted by the apostle peter in Acts 2, and refer to the "last days". The period of the "last days" is non-specific in duration, but ends with these events (which occur during the "tribulation", a 7-year period prior to the return of Christ).

So, until the tribulation hits, you won't see the darkness specified in the Bible...
and when the tribulation does hit... trust me, you won't need to ask about it in forums. The whole world will know.

I am in the same boat. I went through a few years where I wasnt sure if I believed in "God" with all the pain and suffering in the world. But you will find your light, youre right its for your own thoughts dont let anyone else tell you what to believe or what is or isnt true.

In New England, on 19th May 1780 there was a Day of Darkness. It is still unexplained and was not due to a Solar eclipse.
It was dark enough for the stars to be visible and the chickens to go to roost.

It will happen again and no one will know the day or the hour.

But it is known how this will happen and TPTB are '#ake mushrooming' themselves. HAARP and chemtrails are all explained by what they know. The DUMBs are being built because of 'IT' and more people are seeing 'IT'.

If I told you what 'IT' is you wouldn't believe me, so I am not going to bother. But it is able to be seen in the middle of our Sun at the moment. Youtubers have been filming 'IT' for years. I have even taken a photo of 'IT'

Dark Knight has been delayed but the effect of the Nibiru/Dark star is now being felt as we entered its magnetosphere on 3rd Oct 2011. BUT the Dark star is not the cause of the Day of Darkness.

So the Catholics are sort of right but only the Name of Jesus, the Name of God=Yehovah and faith in Him will save you.

I don't yet know the timing of this event but it is within the next two years, as things have been delayed; the old timings are out.

Pretty interesting. I know that there was 3 days of darkness that happened in the Book of Mormon just thought that was interesting.

I don't worry about these sort of things. I doubt it will happen. Prophecies if there is anything to them are usually metaphors for something that is supposed to happen on the inside of individuals, not literally.

If one assumes the 3 days of darkness is at the end of 2012, the prophecy is easily decoded as to when it is supposed to happen (the clues according to this site: olrl.org...

The Warning is December 2, 2012, Advent.

The Miracle is December 13, 2012, the Feast of St. Lucy.

The Catholic church is controlled by Satanists bent on using prophecy to their own ends, bringing forth the antichrist.

The 6th Seal (the "pole shift" and days of darkness) is the breaking of the covenant with God as per this from Jeremiah 33

19 The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:

In other words, Satanists will create an artificial eclipse and light at night to "break the covenant" with God, meaning the Antichrist can take power. The 6th Seal is thus an artificial event designed to bring the antichrist to power in 2013.

That is incorrect.

Remember, NO light will shine, save those holy candles. NO light at all. No watch light, no flash light, no sun light, and certainly no other candle light will emit one single particle of light. I'm sure if you tried to flick your bic, you wouldnt even get sparks.

The original 3 days of Darkness was at the time of Christ's death. As it was in those days mean anything?

If you look through out your bible, if you have one , no harshness meant here, you will find that history indeed repeats itself time and again in various ways. It's almost as though the world is doomed to repeat it's mistakes untill no more mistakes can be made. i.e... We blow ourselves to shreds and none are left to screw up.

Again... This darkness is divine. If it happens, dont expect it to be from electricity going out around the world. Expect it to be something more akin to a miricle no one on this planet can explain. No excuses will be needed because it will be definate and done in a way that no one will deny it. It's also part of other things happening at and around the same time.

Sooo... You are completely able to look out your window and prove it wrong, but I dont think they'll like what they will see. But you're totaly welcome to do so. Also, if you start hearing a dead loved one outside beging for you to open the door because they are being tortured... That might give a clue as to what's going on out there and why you shouldnt bother looking
