I met Sir jimmy a couple of times when I used to be a postman and I delivered his post to his modest flat in Leeds.
The first time I saw his name on a small parcel and thought oh it cant be him, but when I knocked and he answered in his underpants I was shocked, but
he was cool and offered me a brew.
I bought his book and the next time I went round to deliver something he signed it and we had a long chat about jim will fix it (me berating him for
not fixing it for me
).
He raised alot of money for people and will be missed.
