Oct 17th 2011 Ufo sighting.

I am a constant viewer of the MUFON website as well as their recent 20 ufo reports. I actively gather reports,pictures and videos to help keep my collection alive and well.

These photos are some of the clearest and might i say "frightening" pictures. The last photo is the money shot.

I'm a photographer and was taking some time lapse photography of stars on Saturday night. I set the camera on automatic and went back in the house. After an hour I retrieved the camera and reviewed the photos and discovered several super bright, glowing cigar shaped objects flying over my house. They appeared to be very large and were very high in the sky as they were passing behind the trees. They traveled from west to east and south to north. There were four. Two, could have been the same object passing in front of the camera at different times. This one was brilliant red. One was white with colored lights in the middle and the other was multicolored. I brought them in to photoshop to have a closer look and there is some kind of structure there. I have no idea what these are. I put the time lapse footage together and had a look at that and the objects move so fast they look like shooting stars.

Those are some intriguing pictures, and are clearly not Chinese lanterns. If you don't mind, may I ask what part of the world these were taken? Thank you for posting this.

It looks like a helicopter over exposure, ive seen this before recently in a China UFO which was explained as such, looks very very good tho

Yes because we all know about those SILENT planes that people taking photographs never seem to hear when they fly overheard. Seriously have you ever been near an airport? Do you honestly think the guy would forget to include a noise as loud as that in his post to MUFON?

In his post he said he saw them, at least thats what I understood.

I know that I also though of a plane at first, but how do you explain the center?

And the light aren't in a pattern if you look again. the spacing is off.

ask and you shall receive. I live in Canada but i was so intrigued by these photos i decided to track down this photographer. Im not going to release his name or anything like that, but he has about 8 more photos with other light anomalies on them. He simply doesn't believe were being visited so he remains firm that their secret military projects. I dont have the other pictures, but I do have his word and he did sound sincere.

Thats all i know on this certain event. The guy sounded on the level.

PS. Hes been a photographer for 12 years, he knows whats good in photos and whats not.

Okay so first, did he think they were overexposed planes?

Second did he see them himself, with his own eyes?

Third are the other pics of the same type?

These types of pictures are all over the place.....it is TIME LAPSE people.....that is an airplane with the lights on the wings intermittently flashing through the time lapse and the nav lights that stay on constantly creating the long trails.....nothing new and very explainable. Search the net for 1 minute and you can find plenty of them....


Just search "night airplane light lapse photo" and you will see what I mean.

He simply stated that they were "highly advanced military craft." Take that as you will.

He never saw these himself, if he did, he would have had more interest in these instead of just "military craft."

The other pictures he stated were similar but with a few other odd anomalies. One he said had a very clear red orb (he never went into how detailed these other photos are unfortunately.) Another he stated you could clearly see a "light trail" of a standard airliner but still had some rather interesting orb like anomalies.

I really wish i had spent more time on the phone with him. Although, he really didn't seem all that interested in these.

I just did a bit of a look. Although a low flying plane like a small Cessna on a 5 to 3
sec shutter would appear similar too the photo. However, in the three photos you can see a full side of the "structure" appear red. While in the clearer photo, the red side has disappeared. I follow what you are saying what these might be, but being a bit of a photographer myself, i doubt these are helicopters, civilian planes.

Their planes. The two rails are solid wing/nav lights and the intermittent ones are strobes. The fact he states this was on long exposure puts this to bed IMO.

Its just a plane or helicopter taken with the camera on a long exposure.

Its an easy effect to do , heres a picture i took a few weeks back of cars at night using a long exposure of 6 seconds.

This person (who allegedly made the MUFON report) is a HOAXster. As as already been stated, these are time-lapse photos of a plane and it's nav/beacon lights. For anyone to claim otherwise is deliberately creating a HOAX.

I believe you are right the story doesn't add up , how did he track the photographer down , I believe the OP and the photographer are the same person .
