ok if you go back a page I posted a few passage's from the bible and you say you believe in the bible as the word of god.....Ok your saying you agree with these eh?

Christian women: be silent

Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
-- I Corinthians 14:34-35 (NIV)

Woman must marry rapist

If a man [meets] a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her ... He must marry the girl ... He can never divorce her as long as he lives.
-- Deuteronomy 22:28-29 (NIV)

Execute stubborn kids

If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son ... Then shall his father and his mother ... bring him out unto the elders of his city ... And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die.
-- Deuteronomy 21:18-21 (AV)

Deuteronomy 23:1 ESV

No one whose testicles are crushed or whose male organ is cut off shall enter the assembly of the Lord.
(better make sure mine are ok then ) lol

So answer me you have just said you believe it all and agree with it? so go on explain to me why a victim of rape must marry the rapist.....

So because it harms no one (this can be debated) it makes it ok?

I think that is the greatest flaw in your argument. As All forms of witchcraft are condemned by Jesus Christ.

Anyone who is involved with wicca is walking in darkness, and the further into witchcraft they go, the stickier the web becomes...

Cherry picking verses from the old testament will get you no where but I'll be happy to refute those verses which you claim are "bad" if you provide the same verses from an uncorrupt translation such as the KJV.

EDIT: Also remember the old testament laws were meant for the Jews and other tribes around that area of the time before Jesus came and gave us the gospel. When you say a woman must marry her rapist (taken out of context) that is not meant for us today.

Its also interesting how skeptics never take verses out of the new testament which is all about love and forgiveness.

Its what you do put in quotes from the bible and to be honest this quote

If a man [meets] a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her ... He must marry the girl ... He can never divorce her as long as he lives

Explain to me how that can mean anything but what it says.....

Seems to me its Christianity (your messed up version of it) which is Evil and not the wicca's

Ah you mean the translation...Ok I get it but surely this means the bible isnt Gods words it's Mans or maybe it is Gods words but the message got lost in translation lol.

You made this post to warn and scare people away from the wicca's if anything you have made your religion look all Hell and brimstone and now Iam interrested in reading more about wicca's because they seem to offer something what I think is missing in your religion.
It's time for the religious revolution to begine and to destroy all Man made/oppressive religions.

The verse you speak of is about a man who has sex with a woman without marrying her...That man has made her unsuitable for marriage and therefore is responsible for her care.

And in case you hadnt noticed, We do not follow many of the practices of the old testament. The jews do. E.g. do not eat pork. But not Christians. We follow the new testament, That is the base of Christianity. So no, you do not have to marry your rapist and parents do not have to stone their disobedient child. The ten commandments still apply though.

If you want to single out verses from the old testament then you should really be speaking with someone of the Jewish faith as they could probably give you a greater insight of the old Jewish traditions than i can.

I believe you have been deceived into thinking Christianity is just man made religion, which in fact isn't the case. It is true that the word "Christianity" is not in the Bible but being a Christian simply means you are walking with Christ and the Holy Spirit is within you. Religion is man trying to find God, Christianity is God coming to man in the form of Jesus Christ. Wicca cannot offer you salvation, if you die as a wiccan you will still die in your sins. And the Bible tells us if you die in your sins their is only one place you will go.

In this case. RG is right. Christians do not live under the old covenant(law). It was fulfilled. Therefore, those verses do not apply to the christian faith. There are plenty of verses in the new testament you can use that apply to the christian of today.

You seem to be confused my friend. When I say I believe the old testament and new testament as being true, I mean that I believe the events took place exactly how the Bible portrays them, and that these things actually happened, and is not just a fictional tale that man created to control others. That does not mean to say that I follow old covenant (I am not Jewish). I hope we have a clear understanding now.

Plain and simple, the Christian Church invented witchcraft to persecute women in villages that revered the femine and had priestesses, in a more matriarchal society, that posed a resistance to their Christian agenda.

Jesus did not condemn any forms of witchcraft. Jesus welcomed use of herbal incense, remedies, yoga and called on the familiars to aid him on several occasions. Jesus practiced magic, get over it! He commanded that his apostles follow his path and do greater acts.

Your attack on Wicca is an attack on your Christ. You are marching in lock step with the mindset of the inqusition, that crucified the saints. I think your attitude is "Anti-christal!"

Magic is taught and performed all througout the Old and New Testament.

Ok if you can shrug off passages I found in the OT and say well Iam christian and don't follow the OT why do you use quotes from it in your opening post?

am the LORD thy God... Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image (idol), or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God...
(Exodus 20:2-5)
your cherry picking what to use and what not to use.
Also the quote itself prove's something to me that your god is jealous etc......isnt that against the commandments?

Jesus was not a witch.

To suggest that Jesus was a witch is not only blasphemous but shows a profound ignorance of the biblical teachings in general and the direct teachings of Christ in particular.

Jesus completely confirmed the Old Testament teachings (eg., Matt 5:17-18). The Old Testament expressly forbade and condemned the beliefs/practices of neo-pagans (Deut. 18:9-12).

Furthermore, as the second person of the Trinity, Jesus would not have had any need for occultic power.

See this is what paganism does to you my friend, it teaches you a false Christ and makes up all sorts of lies about our messiah in an attempt to make excuses for your sin.

Believe me you will be without excuse on judgement day for the deceitful things you have spread unless you repent and put your trust in Jesus and admit your a sinner (as we all are).

Jesus was a sorcerer, magician and shamanic mystic, who taught the ways of the secret teachings. A "Witch" is a term that is made up by Christians.

By dening that Jesus was physical and did physical magic is blasphemy, my friend and you a misleading those of us who are following the "TRUE" way. Hell is of your own making.

Your ignorance is forgiveable, I will not hold that against you.

Yes OUR God is a Jealous God.

"Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;"
Exodus 20:5, KJV

"For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:"
Exodus 34:14, KJV

"For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God."
Deuteronomy 4:24, KJV.

And no I am NOT cherry picking as you accuse me of, I see you are still confused. Well there are many relevant things in the old testament for Christians today. After the resurrection of Christ, and the establishment of the church the old covenant no longer apply's to us... The laws you mentioned were for the israelites and tribes of Judah.

EDIT: I notice that you boymonkey74 are simply "trolling" now, if that is the case I will simply ignore your posts and respond to people who can be mature. By the way your acting I would guess your no more than 12 years of age.

But once again you have proved that you are just going thru the bible picking what you think is relevant to your own brand of christianity.
You are no better than the Phelps clan using hell to scare people into believing in something what only a third of the populace believe's in.
Pffft I thought christians were supposed to live and let live but you spout hatred of some folk who think different from yourself......Christian my arse.

Why would God need to use occultic magic when he has divine power?

I have already refuted your argument by providing proof that Jesus was not involved with witchcraft or mysticism and that he condemned it, this is indisputable and you've shown nothing to support your ignorant claims.

You obviously have a very limited knowledge of both wicca and Christianity if you believe divine power from God and magic is the same thing.

That can include making others work, but there is a big debate amongst believers as to whether the Sabbath is on a Saturday or Sunday. As I am unsure about which is the real sabbath day I do try to keep at-least one day of the week for worship only.

Lets try and keep this on-topic though and not make this thread all about me. I would prefer not to have to start reporting off-topic posts.

oc·cult (-klt, klt)
adj.
1. Of, relating to, or dealing with supernatural influences, agencies, or phenomena.
2. Beyond the realm of human comprehension; inscrutable.
3. Available only to the initiate; secret: occult lore. See Synonyms at mysterious.
4. Hidden from view; concealed.
5.

Of course Jesus used occult magic! I have posted here in your thread, many citings of Jesus using magic and teaching mysticism and yes, occult knowledge. I have quoted the definitions of magic, by your own source Allister Crowely, and proved that, by definition, it is the same as what Jesus used!

You have not proved to me that Jesus didn't use magic, you just say that when he does it isn't magic, its divine! PFFFT!

Moses used magic, Joseph used magic, Solomen used magic, there is magic all through the Bible! Ezekiel cast spells, Jeremiah sent out curses, John the Babtist performed magical rituals, Jesus probably took off with Mary Magdelen started the magical church of mysteries in France, after he faked his death and resurrection.
