Just caught occupiers stealing my water which we pay for.

What a bunch of self-entitled little jerks!!!!
I am NOT part of the 1%...I am just a working class guy like most.

This is what went down.
I am walking up the street and see 2 dirtyish looking guys filling 4 giant water bottles (about 3 quarters the size of a water cooler bottle)
I said "hey guys you can't be doing that...you are trespassing"
He tells me to ef off and was extremely arrogant.

I say "there is alot of support for this movement...if you just would have asked it would have been fine"
The fact they might have been doing this under my nose for the last 2 weeks really pisses me off.

He tells me to "ef off" and tells me to "call the police"
So I did.
The cops showed up and knew who they were right away.
They told me these guys have a sense of self-entitlement and are arrogant.
They were also really nice (this is for all you cop bashers out there)
They called me back and told me it was dealt with and they will not be returning.
I thanked them and told them to have a good day and that I appreciated it.

This costs money and they aren't the ones paying for it.
I support the homeless (I give them money when I can) and up until this point i supported the occupy movement (in a small way)

Now...I just see these people as self-entitled,arrogant little ##snip##.

I'm sorry about the theft!!

It really does not surprise me though..

Casting judgement on a whole movement because of the actions of two of them is rather immature..and griping about a few bottles of water.. seems to be petty in my opinion.

I get so angry when people just take from me without asking. I will give a person in need almost anything if only they would ask.

Who is the one paying for the water? Are we to assume that it is you? Would be nice of you to clarify.

BTW, water isn't that expensive but getting permission is the polite thing to do.

So one occurrence can change your opinion upon a whole movement so quickly that you no longer support it? That's pretty shallow. I am not saying what they did was right, although basing your opinion on a massive movement on one subjective event is pretty silly.

Yep, and so do the cops...your watered down (pun intended) complaint took two resources away from much more pressing issues - even if it was getting a cat out of the tree.

If this was the 60s that dollar would've been worth twenty of today's dollars. Right now it's like 3 cents per dollar. Tell them you demand your payment in silver! One silver dollar, NOW!

2 experiences...i was at the occupy movement last week and lasted about ten minutes before I was completely turned off and went home.
I was gonna camp out but didn't want to align myself with these people.

Really? A couple of thirsty guys (who just may or may not be involved
with OWS) stole water from you? What does that have to do
with OWS? How about those banks and corporations that have enslaved
you and your descendants? If your so upset about having your water
stolen, how about that?

What the hell does 2 guys stealing water from you have to do with OWS,

Those 2 people were wrong and were dealt with. How are you so easily swayed by 2 people? How do you know they were occupiers?

Injury, harm or loss, were you really bothered about the water? sorry i think you are pathetic, i agree that they shouldnt have helped themselves, but what harm really? nothing, this just encourages the police to be involved in everything, hey that guy breathed the air on my drive without permission. . . . phone the police quick . . . silly , move on and grow up.

couple of idiots not really doing any harm, grow up man, water is for everyone, if it bothers you, and you are ever in the uk, i have a tap on the side of my house, come and draw from there, no prob from me, you are welcome to it as is anyone else and yes it is full of flouride!, so glad my internal supply is a reverse osmosis system.
