Actually they are the perfect example of why we should avoid a one World government like the plague. Even the most holy an pure theocratic World government led only to corruption, abuse, horrible crimes against humanity, war, infighting and greed.

This is right on the heels of the Vatican calling for a one world financial system as well.

Anyone else find it interesting that lately the Vatican has ben delving into areas that, as a religious organization / city state, seems nowhere close to their radar screen? Even the stance towards the possibility of Extra Terrestrial Life was out of nowhere as well.

Im not a big believer in the prophecy side of things, however does anyone who does keep up with that stuff see any correlations?

I normally dont buy intoi that stuff but something just seems off with whats been going on lately. Its almoist coming across as the Vatican being fearful of the backlash against world governments. The fact that the Vatican is head of a religion AND a seperate city state / sovereign country, unlike other major world religions, its almost like they are fearful of the backlash. To what end though is beyond me.. Heck it might be nothing but conincidental, and everytime I think that I look back through history and see issues to the contrary.

I was thinking the same. Maybe they should stick to being spiritual leaders and leave world politics to the politicians.. Never liked that evil prick.
