I'm sure lots of people on ATS have seen many of the planets. Earth is an easy one to spot.
Jupiter has also been high in the sky each night recently, and quite bright.

Mercury is a bit harder, because it stays "near" to the sun and can only be seen briefly before sunrise (sometimes) or briefly after sunset (sometimes). And it also isnt astoundingly bright, so you'd never pay any attention even if you did see it.
But the next week or two are special. Venus is just next to Mercury, just after sunset, making it easy to spot.

This sky map depicts the location of planets Venus and Mercury just after sunset in Oct. 24, 2011 as viewed from mid-northern latitudes.

The view from the southern hemisphere is similar to that above, both planets setting west-south-west, except that Mercury is to the lower left of Venus. Nibiru is not to blame for this.

Phew! I was really worried there for a second!

Thanks for sharing this, I've been enjoying Jupiter up there for awhile now, and I'll definitely keep an eye out for this.

As someone obsessed with looking up, S&F
