When people say 'follow your heart' etc. they mean go with your intuition, what feels right, ya don't have to over think it or let a fear made up in your head scare you away. They also say go with your gut instinct. Not literally that yor heart has feelings.

Logic is a very important part of being reasonable (and has existed in excess of 4,000 years), but much like your forefathers (the religious) your understanding of the world will get nowhere if you don't use logic.
