“This is my will. I, Muammar bin Mohammad bin Abdussalam bi Humayd bin Abu Manyar bin Humayd bin Nayil al Fuhsi Gaddafi, do swear that there is no other God but Allah and that Mohammad is God’s Prophet, peace be upon him. I pledge that I will die as Muslim.

Should I be killed, I would like to be buried, according to Muslim rituals, in the clothes I was wearing at the time of my death and my body unwashed, in the cemetery of Sirte, next to my family and relatives.

I would like that my family, especially women and children, be treated well after my death. The Libyan people should protect its identity, achievements, history and the honourable image of its ancestors and heroes. The Libyan people should not relinquish the sacrifices of the free and best people.

I call on my supporters to continue the resistance, and fight any foreign aggressor against Libya, today, tomorrow and always.

Let the free people of the world know that we could have bargained over and sold out our cause in return for a personal secure and stable life. We received many offers to this effect but we chose to be at the vanguard of the confrontation as a badge of duty and honour.

Even if we do not win immediately, we will give a lesson to future generations that choosing to protect the nation is an honour and selling it out is the greatest betrayal that history will remember forever despite the attempts of the others to tell you otherwise.”

Thank you for your input. I could not easily take my children to a far away forest and live like hermits. I have children scattered all over the globe. I live in UK and have children in as far away as Dubai. Even thou i and all my baby mamas are white and are british nationals this idea is none functional for us. We all need to remmber that human lives are alot more complex than a simple education can lead you to believe.

Of course, like I said, none of the possible options you can take are easy choices. There are no easy choices in a crisis. I think in your case, the best thing you could do is do research on what you are most concerned about happening that you percieve may endanger you and your family. If it's an economic crash you're concerned about, I suggest you purchase canned foods, weapons, a water filter, and stuff like that... stuff that will be very difficult to acquire when such a thing does happen. Even in a war scenario, stuff like that can go a long ways.

I read an article that a man in Argentina wrote. It took into account their economic collapse, how it affected his and his families' lives, and how he's survived it. I think surviving an economic collapse may be parallel in some ways to surviving a war in some cases. How a society functions in a collapse seems very much like how prison society functions as well. Imagine how convicted felons act in prison, and take that to the streets, disturbing right? Either way, this is definitely a recommended read all the way through.

www.survival-spot.com...

Sure, this may be somewhat off topic, but if it helps at least one person in preparation of survival, wouldn't you agree it's worth it? To me a life, possibly lives saved, is more important than the cleanliness and readability of a forum, and this is coming from a moderator of a console development/hacking forum (where the professional appearance of the forum is heavily maintained)! So hopefully, those who share the same responsibilities as myself as moderators, will agree with my call on this one.

It would be nice if I had enough posts to start a thread of my own.

I lost friends on Pan Am flight 103. Gaddafi admitted to his role in it. He got what he deserved. I just wish that the Italians wouldn't have warned him in April 86. It would have saved a lot of lives.

I will always love you, Gaddafi said to Obama.

LETTER to Obama: To our son, the honourable Barack Hussein Obama, As I have said before, even if, God forbid, there were a war between Libya and America, you would remain my son and I would still love you. I do not want to change the image I have of you. All of the Libyan people are with me, ready to die, even the women and children. We are fighting nothing other than al-Qaida in what they call the Islamic Maghreb. It’s an armed group that is fighting from Libya to Mauritania and through Algeria and Mali. … If you had found them taking over American cities by the force of arms, tell me what you would do?” LETTER to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, British Prime Minister David Cameron and UN Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon: Libya is not yours. Libya is for the Libyans. The Security Council resolution is invalid because it does not follow the charter regarding the internal affairs of any country. This is terrible oppression, crude aggression. You never have the right to intervene in our internal affairs. Who gave you this right? You will regret it if you dare to intervene in our country. Our country is not your country. We cannot fire a single bullet at our people. ------Agencies

Most of the people you listed are actually Taurus.

The Zodiac is inaccurate and off-kilter. This is why all that "what's your sign" crap is just that, crap.

You should look up what sign people were born under based on date.

Capricorn - Jan 20 to Feb 16
Aquarius - Feb 16 to Mar 11
Pisces - Mar 11 to Apr 18
Aries - Apr 18 to May 13
Taurus - May 13 to Jun 21
Gemini - Jun 21 to Jul 20
Cancer - Jul 20 to Aug 10
Leo - Aug 10 to Sep 16
Virgo - Sep 16 to Oct 30
Libra - Oct 30 to Nov 23
Scorpius - Nov 23 to Nov 29
Ophiuchus - Nov 29 to Dec 17
Sagittarius - Dec 17 to Jan 20

What does this have to do with the OP anyway?
edit on 24-10-2011 by TinkerHaus because: (no reason given)

The people that stay in the hive some 40 levels beneath the earth are trying to bring the 13th sign in to this dimension, that is why they tried to change it and say something stupid about the signs being changed.

Its no such thing as Ophiuchus and its no such thing as 13 signs, and its really no way you can change what your zodiac sign is unless....your programmed to -like a ‘Puppet Bot’.
but im pretty sure thats not the case.

And what are you,the OPs body guard or something.

Moammar Gadhafi was a gemini the day he was born, just like the other geminis thats listed, all these geminis were born before 2010,way before the phony anoucment of the signs being changed.

TextMost of the people you listed are actually Taurus.

Stop being so programmed and learn the facts before you try to save some body or jump into something you have ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE OF…

‘Go play some where little kid… im busy’

The Zodiac is inaccurate and off-kilter.

You hit the nail on the head. I don't think Russia was the top dog on this one. Another puzzling thing was that the US didn't get oil from Libya so why was Obama's DC gang jumping on Libya? Got to be more than just oil. Something that I don't get.

So it sounds like if they pull the plug on the Col. they can create a large group of small brush fires which will ofcourse need someone to put out those fires, and prevent anything like a real african union. Someone would almost think this was a longterm 25-50 year plan for the recolonialisation under the name United Nations.

If Gaddafi really was a saint to the Libyan people would they really let their country falter? I mean c'mon now, he was their dictator for many decades. If the people of Libya really were pleased with their leader for all Gaddafi's done for them, would they really go without a fight?

OP might have some truth to it but let's not make Gaddafi into some saint or something...

Do you believe that we should leave countries to fight their own civil wars?

Most--but maybe not all--times, yes. I think there should be some public debate and a DIRECT vote by the people on a case by case basis if we're gonna be doing it.

Wouldn't that be a much better and more democratic solution?

In a perfect world it would be the perfect solution to anything, but how certain are you that the majority of people would vote against saving someone. If by "meddling in" to stop any possible events such as rwanda, serajevo and nazi germany. People would be sold... Just sponsor a few adverts about the poor dying abused and supressed people and anyone with a heart would likely be sold.

Democracy is dead. I'm not one of those people that think MSM are devils, but people emotions are as simple as pie to manipulate.

So put it up to a vote but 99% of the time you'll lose.

ETA: and when you think about it, that's how almost all conspiracy theories are sold, they make you angry when you hear them, then they got you and could tell you just about anything. Fear my friend is one massive weapon.

This is only popular because its the latest fad, elenin was a spectacular conspiracy failure so people are just grabbing at the latest media headlines, it should fade in about 2 weeks. Or when something else happens like an iran war.

I don't believe Gaddafi was a saint, but according to this information, Gaddafi targeting his people could have been exaggerated.

"The war against Libya is built on fraud," Nazemroaya states, while Bouchuiguir is now the new Libyan ambassador to Switzerland.

Nazemroaya is the Canadian-based sociologist and scholar Research Associate of the Centre for Research on Globalization (CRG) specializing in geopolitical and strategic issues who covered the Libyan crisis from there. He was reporting news stories that concurred with other independent journalists there on the ground, but contrary to what mainstream media was reporting. He remained until he became targeted by "NATO Rebels", as other independent reporters there were and narrowly escaped.

Former MI5 Intelligence Officer, Annie Machon on Russia Today last week stated the same that Don DeBar told Dupré in a recent interview: Most Libyans had free education, free health care, owned their own homes and received as much as $1,000. per month in oil dividends that Gaddafi ensured was shared with them. "What's been taking place in Sirte is breathtaking hypocrisy," Machon said. "Now we're looking at a whole range of human rights abuses... with 80,000 civilians bombed in Sirte by NATO forces."('War criminals' kill Gaddafi, bomb 80,000 civilians: PSYOPs working," Dupré, D., Examiner, October 24, 2010)
Machon furthered, "And nobody seems to be stepping up to the mark to protect them."
