The quake struck at 13:41 (10:41 GMT), some 19km (12 miles) north-east of the city of Van. The extent of any damage or injuries is not yet known, although Turkey's Anatolia news agency reports that several houses have collapsed.

No phase data or travel times yet. My feeling is still that this could go down further below 7.2 and I am saying they will downgrade possibly to 6.9 (Keeps it out of the 'bad' figures )
