Peter Schiff Goes To Occupy Wall Street... "I Am The 1%. Lets Chat"

Peter Schiff goes to Occupy Wallstreet with a sign saying "I am the 1%, let's Chat" Cool guy to listen to that knows a lot about economics.

You know this video would be great if you could actually understand it... I tried to watch it but I couldn't get paste the bad audio I thought my speakers were going to explode with the noise and i can hardly understand what anyone is saying

Yea this looks interesting but not able to understand

I don't know how many other economists have visited the protestors and had interactive dialogue with them but this video speaks very highly of Peter Schiff. The protestors are uneducated in economics and confused about their message. Mr. Schiff is able to explain to them why capitalism is the answer as long as government will get out of its way.

No, he's one of the few guys we have on our side, he was Ron Paul's economic adviser in 2008, his father has been in jail for a long time now for being one of the main people in the "Income Tax is Unconstitutional" movement. I've been listening to him for years, he has been right on everything, he is one of the only people to predict the housing bubble collapse, he also predicted the dot com bubble and everything else that is and has happened.

Schiff is trying to educate, as are people like Karl Denniger. You need to have input from those that understand economics and who can clearly see that there is a massive fraud being carried out on the populace of America.

The 99%, in theory, includes all that oppose the corruption, including those that are supporters of capitalism, but not fascist corporatism.

Schiff is actually a very very smart person, especially when it comes to economics and investing.
I had part of my 401k in his investment group. this was back before the big crash. His group had been averaging a 22% return. Which means this man knows economics. I remember seeing him on the news a lot before the crash trying to warn people to get out of the US market. As far as Im concerned, this man knew it was coming, and tried to warn people, but it fell on deaf ears. This is one rich man who i feel deff deserves his perks.

I watched the second videos since the first is unwatchable for me... I do not know why he is labeling himself as the 1% from what he is saying in his video he sounds like part of the 99% to me and after reading more about him he definitely sounds like he is not part of the 1%

I do not know if he is saying that to get people to talk to him or if he believes that.

Just because you have wealth does not make you part of the 1% it is how you gained that wealth and what you choose to do with it that makes you part of the 1%

If you choose to use your wealth to oppress the american people by lobbying congress to pass bills that are good for no one but yourself and the corrupt congress members that you are paying off then you are part of the 1%

If you use your wealth to influence the government to change laws that benefit you and screw the american people, you are part of the 1%

Those are just a few examples of people who belong in the 1% category.... I do not think that this guy has anywhere near enough money to get into the 1% category and since he seems to be against the government stealing money from us and spending it on things that they shouldn't be it also sounds like he is not part of the 1%

The 1% do not educate people on how we are being screwed, they are the ones who screw us... So that makes him part of the 99% because by his own admission he is getting screwed on taxes himself and I can tell you the only reason he pays such huge amounts for taxes like the rest of us people who aren't billionaires is because he doesn't have enough money or powerful friends to get the tax breaks and backroom deals that they do

Not interested in his programming. Capitilism is the answer if Gov gets out of its way. Right! We like that. The whole world is dying and abused by this 1%. They are the reason this planet is a hellzone with billions starving, and villagers/farmers murdered so corporations can set up child slavery for coffee, and chocolate, and their goods. They are the most sickening evil demons, and we need this over now. Complete absolute equality, no patents, no gatekeepers, no hidden technologies. No rulers, no pyramids, and NO FORCING ANYONE TO WORK FOR THEM EVER. We have our own dreams which they block nonstop.

He can shove it and go to the corner.
