“The entire world situation did not develop properly,” said Gorbachev. “We saw deterioration where there should have been positive movement. My friend the late Pope John Paul II said it best. He said, ‘We need a new world order, one that is more stable, more humane, and more just.’ Others, including myself, have spoken about a new world order, but we are still facing the problem of building such a world order…problems of the environment, of backwardness and poverty, food shortages…all because we do not have a system of global governance.”

Muah-ha-ha. He has a dream.

Of course, it is in the workings, but will it, ultimately, work?

Global governance and the environment in the same sentence again....

IMO, the actions of Man and their governments have a profound effect on the environment.

Some day when we grow up and shed our false idea that global governance MUST be a "New World totalitarian state", we will realize how much better it would be to solve issues such as food distribution, monetary policy and immigration.

Gorbachev has really changes his views over the years and has been speaking out a lot lately. I know I will get blasted for this post, but he is right.

Problem

problems of the environment, of backwardness and poverty, food shortages…

Reaction

We need a new world order, one that is more stable, more humane, and more just

Solution

all because we do not have a system of global governance

This is how it works. They CREATE so many problems that in the end you'll be BEGGING them for a global government. They SELL it to you.

None of the worlds problems require 'global governance' to solve. Don't be a sucker.

Either you start acting like there is a need to for you to engage on a global level, or you leave it to those entities that DO operate on that level. Corporations.

Think it over.

TPTB ate totally incapable of running anything properly. Everything they touch is a total disaster for everyone except themselves. Time is on our side as the longer they are in the forefront the more clear their incompetency becomes. Does anyone actually believe these self absorbed ego maniacs can do a better job if they are given more power and control. Even if the idea was a good one the criminal, murdering black hearts running things upon the backs of the people should be removed not put on pedestals.

Yes, there it is in black and white.

He was speaking yesterday at Lafayette College, which is in Pennsylvania.

If the rumors are correct, this will be coming down the pike very soon.

And all of us will have to decide whether to go with it or leave it alone.

I personally will have a very hard time. I am urban, unemployed, and know that life in my city cannot go on outside of some sort of predictable framework. If you are in a rural area, or energy self-sufficient, and are prepared to survive independently, then you can take or leave whatever gets thrown at you by the planners.

But I may feel that I have no other option than to buy in to whatever alternative they are selling me.

However, if I don't see the honesty and sense of fairness that should go with "reform," then I will continue to suspect it even if I am forced to live with it.

There are strong rumors from pretty good sources that "TPTB" are not just a single group. That they actually have a tyrannical faction, a "liberal" faction, and possibly also a "middle" faction. And the rumors are that the tyrants are being pushed out of the picture.

So it could get tricky. This "new" NWO could look like a very good deal. They could bring with them a lot of actions that a lot of us have been hoping for for a long time. Like Disclosure, an end to the Monarchy and the central (reserve) bank system. They could offer us a commodity-backed money supply instead of a debt-based economy controlled by the banksters. They could offer low-cost, non-centralized alternative energy systems. They could offer us jobs, and a way to stay alive and raise our children in peace.

Will we just get fooled again? If I knew how, I'd pray.

you really dont get it do you?
of course everything they touch turns bad, that is the idea so we the poor peasants beg to be saved, TPTB have been there from the start.

much more satisfying for them to have people beg to be slaves than force it upon them.

So it's official now.
OWS protesters are indeed useful idiots and pawns of TPTB.
