Assange is not an attention seeking whore or a money grabbing whore (and whatever else you said). He is a person with alot of power. He is the face for a movement, freedom of information and freedom of expression.

If he was really after money, why would he engage in LEGAL activitys which would obviously be silenced by corporations due to government threats? Hello mastercard, via, paypal and the rest of the bankers 1% club. Why would he release information handed to him knowing it would possibly cripple his financial assets to fund wikileaks?

Besides with the money wikileaks does get from donations outside of the 1% club, do you realise how much wikileaks is under attack from the governments who oppose their role? It costs a hell of a lot in legal fees.

You watch too much CNN / FAUX News.

Either way whether your jealous of what julian and his team have achieved, he is still making a very strong point about anonymity.

Why not open EVERYONES door to their houses,to see what type of "wealth" they have? Lets not stop there. Lets do away with locks,and keys also.

Wealth is really superficial.Those that want it, need it,those that have it,to those that do not. Its really how you put yourself,in the 'class" you want to be in. In the first pic. Look at the half smiles on the officers face. I think they knew who was gonna be under the mask.

Does that give some of you cause for alarm? No.

Actually he is wearing a Guy Faux (spelling) mask not an anonymous mask, anonymous also uses this mask as a symbol but this is not an "anonymous mask"

But everything he says sounds good no matter what mask he wears..

While also being a total legend he makes some very important points in my opinion. Transparency should apply to everyone and denying citizens anonymity when others are not is just unconstitutional.

They are at occupylsx when there is not a lot they can do ... if its capitalism they dont like , or the police state , tough . london stock exchange wont do anything about it .

You have to question why - in this country - some of these 'activists' are the most well spoken of all english society , and happen to be the ones who tend to 'represent' . That capitalism allows crisis is a start in terms of necessary knowledge , but hey > wake up! that is old news , really old news . Do they want to stop that ? It seems so , but who knows what they want to do , in reality , or who they work for , if not themselves . It seems they give the wrongdoers (existing factions) , and the bigots , every excuse .

And, the protestors also want to be anonymous about it (their group) ? Well they are allowed to . Even , allowed to do that . It is only the wise and the foolish which walk this earth . Its not illicit ,, you dont have to sneak up and take it , you dont have to ask anyone for it , its what you make of the here and now . costs nothing , gains everything .

Julian Assange is not about borders and territorial BS, and niether is anyone with any sense. He is a fellow who is used to speaking freely, on a wide range of subjects, and I for one respect his attitude on this, and several other matters.

Its time we woke up to the fact that while globalisation of GOVERNMENT is a bad thing, almost everyone in this nation could benifit from a slightly more open world veiw than the one we currently have. With that in mind, we should be proud of our capacity to accept an idea from outside that may turn out in our favour. It would be arrogance and xenophobia to assume that just because the fellow is not a UK resident , nor a UK citizen, that his ideas lack substance or value, and that is not an acceptable scenario.

This country is NOT stupid, or incapable of understanding the value of an idea, where ever it may have come from, and I resent the suggestion that Assange's words will fall on deaf ears due to his nationality. His words fall on deaf ears where the ignorant roam, and not for any other reason.

We Brits love a good loony, the more eccentric the better (and saying that the Queen is a reptile secures him a place in that league). Sometimes we even vote for them when politicians get too drab and dry (we like our politics like our religion, something to take out on special occasions but otherwise best left to history, unlike the US). David Icke, in many ways, is similar to the old court jester - only a fool could or would tell the King the truth.
