UFO Montana daytime sighting silver red green Double spheres 7 27 2010

I really have no idea what this could be.

I do not think it could be a star, I don't think it is a lantern, and I find it hard to believe this could be a plane. Even if it was a plane, would it be possible to reflect that much sunlight through the clouds?

I don't know this one has me puzzled.

Any thoughts?

Seriously tho, I think it might be an airplane whos safety lights are masked by the cloud layer.

That's an interesting one - So hard, in video, to really perceive as you did -

I have a couple questions -

Seemed to be pulsing, the light?

At one point dogs start barking. Did this feel related to the object at all?

Also, as it's hard to tell in video, did it keep a straight path to the horizon?

To me, the shape is quite different than a plane with some of it's lights somehow not visible and it's daytime anyhow -

that is most certainly a strange video. I for one dont feel like its a airplane or other conventional craft. Its color shift is very curious and its movements, while not the usual 90 degree angle turn that has become so popular with the commonly assumed movements of a UFO, are interesting in that is seems to perhaps be cruising at a steady pace apparently against the wind. Obviously since I myself werent there, this is all purely conjecture, however I would like to say that Im jealous to an extent that you were able to see such a thing and that you caught it brilliantly on some good quality video, thank you for sharing S&F.

That is a powerful hand held laser being pointed and reflected off clouds.

Why would the laser beam not reflect off the foreground items it passes by them, as in the power lines?

Sorry, but I don't think it's a handheld laser, I have a blue one that goes 45 miles and can sort of tell what they look like.

If it is a laser it may be coming from another source and the powerlines wouldnt be in the way.Anyway if you have one you would know what they are capable of .After further watching ,the object is still appearing in clear air with no cloud behind it ,so my laser explanation is probably wrong.

Helicopter maybe? It sounds like steady rotor noise in the background. (unless something's wrong with the speakers on my laptop, which is possible also). Is there any forest fires in Montana now?

That's a good catch. It has me mystified. It has traits of satellite movement, but if it really is in front of cloud then I don't know. It's hard to tell if there is actually any thick cloud until the end of the video, where it clearly goes behind some. It looks like lights you'd expect to see on an approaching plane - but not what you'd expect of the rear of a plane, or a helicopter. It does look like sunset though in the vid so it could well just be sunlight shining off it. I dunno. What I am sure of though is that it isn't a laser, unless someone has the worlds steadiest hand, or some kind of contraption that moves their laser pen around so smoothly and in such miniscule increments. Interesting stuff!

Its an airplane reflecting light at the end of the day. I see this every evening in front of my house. It looks really bright because the plane is bathed in sunlight and the viewer is in the shade so to speak so there is a big contrast there.

EDIT - HAHA, I can hear a helicopter in the background. I wonder how close he is to an airport, probably real close.

Hopefully that was sarcasm ...... cause that has to be the worst rule ever


But to me it looks like a UFO ..... seemed like it sat there for too long to be a plane.

A little more description of the sighting might help determine that.

Also.... it looked like it was moving away from the person filming ... planes that bright are usually coming towards you with there headlights on since they are in the front.

Sorry but it looks like a plane to me .... just like this one .
