I would not join the fight, I would assess the situation as to how in danger I was and if my house was in danger I would head for the local mountains and set up camp. I have a reverse osmosis water filter made to take water from a lake, sleeping bag, tent, fishing equipment, emergency supplies and two 5 gallons tanks of gas in my truck at all times, along with tire chains and other fun stuff. I would hate to have it get to that but I was an Eagle scout and your always supposed to 'be prepared", my survival bucket even has a toilet seat on it

WWIII may happen. It probably won't involve me directly (as in me taking action), but it will certainly affect me. I will probably just try to get by like my grandparents did in WWII for however long it lasts.

i doubt that that button would be pushed- ever. Whilst we all know that the elite have the bunkers and the DUMBS, do you think that they would prefer to live below ground than above?
The nuclear 'solution' was a very cold war thing, one that still bears a threat as in reprisal, but one that, in my opinion would never be used.

WW3 could happen any day, when it happens I have researched local caves and caverns, I will head to a safe cave with bug out stuff wait out as long as supplies allowed then head north. I have researched for many years what I can and cannot eat from the raw earth, I am a huntress and fishing fanatic, I can build shelter out of anything. Love the outdoors so I think if i survive a major catstrophic I will make it. BEfore a ww3 t I think humanity will go bazerk on leaderships, maybe being what causes a ww3..and no I would not fight for this leadership, although I would fight to help defend my neighbor and family.

Seems to me World War III has already begun.
I hope for the best and plan for the worst.

If/when it goes down.. I'm heading to my parents-in-laws farm in Iowa

It's not about hiding from fighting wars, the days of being on a front line are over. These are going to be bombing wars, nuclear attacks and the farther away from the main cities you have a better chance of you not being bombed to pieces. I have many of gun that would go with me and high desity ammo that would only take a few shots to stop someone but I'm not fighting a war of greed where weapons on mass destruction are involved.

I did my time during the Gulf War. I would not go again under our current leadership. Not just the Whitehouse but Congress also...both sides of the aisle.

I agree with you that our government has become the peoples enemy. Saying that can get you put on a watch list, but they can declare economic war on us and bleed our country dry with no consequences to them. I will not live in fear of my government and I will no longer fight for it.

I would still fight for the people though...on a case by case basis. Meaning I will not fight for someone who is not willing to fight for themself and just expects someone to come along and save them. Sorry, sheep are meant to be slaughtered...nature's law.

I have no issue with you having guns.

Just to clarify again.

Bombs are going off on the other side of the planet and you and your survival skills are out in the woods waiting for Iranians to come along?

We aren't allowed firearms in the UK, but we are allowed bladed weapons as long as they are under 2 1/2 inches in public -that includes folded blades in public. In private, we are allowed bigger blades- no ordnance, no firepower.
Basically, as a 'protect yourself situation' we will end up with melee weapons for protection, UNLESS you have the knowledge to make your own explosives etc... which not many people do know how .

To those who think that hiding in caves/mountains is a good idea, do you not think that other people have already through of that? You will have competition, you will be forced to fight.

I have no idea what I would do, apart from # myself, and I think that most people's plans will not go accordingly. One thing is certain though. I would refuse to kill another human being. I would refuse to take sides, as there is no right or wrong side any more. I would probably be slaughtered by someone who is either brainwashed, or someone who just wants to kill.

I don't know if you read what I wrote but I said if my house was in danger then yes I would go to the mountains, but only if my house is in danger. Ah yes the American that thinks the US is the only country with bombs and that the US is the only country going to be bombing countries, ever heard of this little place called China, ya well if this is to happen bombs will be falling on this side of the world as well. The OP asked what we would do, if you don't like what i would do, why care it's not going to affect you.

WW3:

When - I think the real war will start when Israel attacks Iran. Lt. Col Shafer said he has some inside information that an Israeli strike on Iran will happen within 2 weeks (he made this claim four days ago I believe). Right now, this would be my best guess as to when exactly the strike will occur.
Who - Iran, North Korea, Turkey, Syria, Venezuela, Russia, China ...... vs ...... Israel, US, UK, France, Germany, Canada, Spain and possibly a few other European countries. I'm not saying all these countries will be at it from the get go... Eventually, they will be though. At the start of the conflict, I think it will be Iran, Syria, Venezuela vs US and Israel
How long - I think WW3 will last a year to two years. I think it will be this short because I can't see nuclear weapons taking that long to get involved. Too many countries with nukes are involved in this not to spiral of control very quickly.
