1500 people block the streets in a march. Occupy Victoria!

I was able to participate in Occupy Victoria BC yesterday.
There are still people camping at the site!

Here is a video of the march. About 1500 people flooded the streets!

wow! I live in Vancouver, just across from it! we have our own occupy vancouver protest also. It went very well, there was a NYPD officer holding a sign "No more bull#", it was quite amazing. There weren't any disturbances from the police nor from the crowd (:

Yes the police were pleasent, but I think that was more to keep it peaceful than anything.

They know how quickly things can spiral out of control in Vancouver.

I'm glad this has moved to Victoria, the capital of our beautiful province. People are coming to their senses.
This way of life is unsustainable in our current state of mind, from the top down.
