All children should be revered as our ultimate and perfect connection.

I'm opposed to child abuse...... but also to child neglect. I consider child spoiling as a form of neglect. Neglecting to give them an education, guidance and protection. So I am always wary of such sentiments that could be leading to that.

A child may have a connection with the Source, or a higher state of being and feeling,
But they will not learn how to express it, share it, or use it unless they also learn the systems of communication their society has constructed. Without it, they will feel frustrated at not being understood, at not being able to communicate and cooperate with others, not be able to operate effectively within their environment.

Without the education, you leave a child to be a source of untapped potential they haven't the tools to use in this physical world.

So I'd say, respect them enough to give them the tools. The constructs of a society cannot be changed by them if they cannot know and manipulate them.
