As probably some of you already know, the human body and the body of every living beings emit energy and this energy can be used to heal yourself.

The moon is, right now, in its waning gibbous period so it's the perfect time to try this little experiment:

The following body posture is a very simple mudra to heal the body.

Lay comfortably down straight on your back and place your left hand, palm down, approximately one or two inches over the navel. The left arm and hand must not touch the belly and all fingers must be spaciously separated from each other. The right hand must comfortably be placed one or two inches near the right thigh with the palm directed upward and all the fingers, again, spaciously separated from each other (the little finger must not touch the thigh). You must stay in this position, immobile, for at least 20 minutes.

If you perform this mudra, what do you perceive? Nothing? A huge burst of energy? An unequaled state of well-being? Something else? I'm curious.

I think the only thing you will feel is fatigue in the arm muscels as you attempt to hold the arms in this position for 20 minutes.
What did you find?

I'll give it a blast this evening ... I usually do the Shavasana or Courpse Pose in the evening but I will try your technique...

There will be no fatigue as only the left forearm is raised. If the size of the belly is a problem, I don't know yet what to suggest.

What did you find?

I'd like first to know what people perceive. I don't want to put words in their mouth

The ideal time to perform this mudra is in the morning before the first meal.

Basically, it increases the energy level of the body, improves the state of well-being, enhances the libido and detoxifies the organism.

Well I tried it for around 5 minutes before returning to my routine...... In the first minute I felt a pulsating feeling within my head like a hum, no fatigue in my arm. I sit or lie in meditation for around one hour at a time so I wasn't expecting to get fatigue.

If you maintain the posture during more than five minutes, you will probably notice a subtle electric-like current in the abdominal region.

Well I tend to meditate at midday and before I sleep... I will try it out for the full 20 minutes a few times a week.. The electrical feeling you mentioned is quite accurate, the pifalls of having a father that wasn't good with DIY
as a child and putting my fingers on bare wires. So yes the buzz of current without the violent joltz is a very good way of explaining it.
