What do you consider victory in Iraq?

Victory in Iraq:

1, Finding killing/trying Saddam and sons (they are likely dead already though)

2, Putting the country back together, putting oil production back in operation (under US administration) with a 20% skim off the profits to the US

3, Intimidating Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia into maintaining the Dollar Oil Standard.

4, Denying France and Germany any opportunity to profit from rebuilding in Iraq

5, Alleviating the $100 Billion debt to France and Germany from the Iraqi people, and letting France and Germany deal with the economics on thier side.

Just a thought.

Dragonridder I've got my spiff with France and Germany too.

But if we look at this in a reasonable way...what are the possible outcomes leaving France and Germany behind:

1) They decide that together they are stronger. And that it is destiny for them to finally be reunited.

2) They merge their governments, or at least their armies, and decide they aren't going to let America be the "big boss" anymore.

3) But they don't start anything yet, they will wait till America hits an all time low by their heckeling and so no one is USA's true ally, only USA will believe in "preventive measures".

4) France//Germany bliztkrieg Europe and they wouldn't fail to take Russia this time.

5) Real WW3 not this Muslim Crap (however French are liked in the Muslim Community).

6) Whether to gain massive support of the near half billion Islams who are near the Middle East, or just because a "nationalist government" in those two countries will only explode down the path of Nazism for they are too agressive to not let it happen. Anti-Semitism and ridding Israel from the Holy Land would obviously become a goal.

7) Big holocaust all over again...

Ending the war...

And china in your scenario ?

the establishment of a government that doesn't hate us, and isn't hated by it's neighbors...

That's going to be the real challenge to victory in this war... Saddam and the WMD are the easy part....
