Despite being consistently ranked in the top three in GOP presidential candidate preference polls, Ron Paul has been given the least time to speak OUT OF ALL THE CANDIDATES at the debates that have taken place thus far.
Confirmation of this fact comes in the form of a study from the University of Minnesota, published to the Smart Politics blog.
The study has tallied the total face time that candidates were afforded during the last three debates. The results speak for themselves.

I don't think you can really argue these numbers. I dislike people's arguments about how Ron Paul's supporters are just on the internet and they flood polls on websites to manipulate the data. MSM isn't giving Ron Paul any other choice! If he can't get face time on the boob tube then how else is he going to get his message out?

It sucks that this is the case...but, thankfully, Ron Paul can convey a meaningful message in a short period of time.

And....he's not whining about it.

How do they allocate the time each candidate gets? Is it based on their popularity before the debate?

Not a real surprise to anyone that has been paying attn.

Also, lets factor in all the questions that they give him just to make him look bad. That is like 50% of all questions. So realistically he is getting 50% of whatever they say he is.

Using that equation, that would mean he's only had 9 min of real talk time in the last 3 debates.

3 min per debate!! It's a joke no matter how it's figured..
