I give you this for effort. I did not vote for Obama, but the haters here have prompted me to reply more than once.
Nice to see a general veiw instead of just POTUS bashing.

Were you expecting it to work miracles and change everything over night...if that happened..I guess he would be the messiah. Obama haters and republicans are the ones hoping and saying it didn't work.

So far one poster has replied to answer a few of the listings, not that I agree...but at least he/she is trying.

All other posters are of the usual stuff...Obama bashers.

I am not including the ones asking for rational and intelligent discussion. I don't expect this thread to go anywhere...as it filled with facts and does not include the usual Obama sucks because....well you get my drift.

What a difference four years makes. It used to be on the ATS that O bummer was king and could have nothing bad or critical said of him. But all that has changed now, and that is change I can believe in. Now I'm finally in the majority. And it's not even hate, because I truly do not hate the man. It's disgust.

Really have no interest in Campaign Promises. Those tend to be a political game used by every campaigning politician.

Of course - the only ones called on them - - are the ones who win.

More interested in reality. What IS being accomplished - - - not campaign techniques.

Obama did not "accomplish" the poverty rate or unemployment rate or any of the statistics in your post. It would be nice to have ONE MAN to blame for the current economy, but the truth is, we are in a recession that was well underway when he took office. Blaming him for things that happened before he was elected is a bit cowardly and childish, IMO. His efforts have actually served to lessen the effects of the economic recession. But of course, he'll get no credit for that.

I agree with the OP that Obama has done a lot of positive things. He didn't save the world, but only the naive thought he would. I'm not 100% happy with him, but I wouldn't be with anyone. He has accomplished a lot.
