When I just heard Perry say *since he took office of Gov. in Texas
in 2000 I was like wtf. Look at this sheezy..
en.wikipedia.org...
James Richard "Rick" Perry (born March 4, 1950) is the 47th and current Governor of Texas. A Republican, Perry was elected Lieutenant Governor of Texas in 1998 and assumed the governorship in December 2000 when then-governor George W. Bush resigned to become President of the United States. Perry was elected to full gubernatorial terms in 2002, 2006 and 2010. With a tenure in office to date of 10 years, 295 days, Perry is the longest continuously serving current U.S. governor, and the second longest serving current U.S. governor after Terry Branstad of Iowa.

Gingrich does not have a chance..
He is a republican water boy, we do not need that..

wow an insult on ron paul already on the sean hannity forum

Do you see the patronizing smirks and condescending look the other candidates give Paul when he is speaking?

in reply to

They will ignore Paul because he hit a huge home run about our economic situation, so he has to be silenced, until a subject that they feel they can try to make him look bad while cutting him off before he is finished.

Can someone explain that insult on the top?

Term limits is paramount, but you have to change the face of the folks who would be the one's who would have to vote that into law.. That's why the House & Senate elections in 2012 are as if not more important than who gets to sit in the Oval Office..

for me a good term limits approach would be..

House - 4 terms max = 8 years

Senate - 2 terms max = 12 years

President - 2 terms (already in place) = 8 years..

it would seriously decrease the career politician atmosphere that has put the country in the toilet, and still allows some tenure so we don't have a complete changeover every couple of years, which would tend to put us on a somewhat risky postion, IMO.

Oh boy... Paul calling out Cain on the Fed.

Somehow he turns it in to the "999," while glossing over the real issue.

Hannity has a forum>>??

I would not be caught dead in there.

He's alright, but I feel no need to be on his forum.

Ron Paul supporters are die hards.
I would not take it to much serious coming from the
Hannity forum...

Not a physical war, but a *trade* war..

Trade wars always lead to real wars.

How many times is Mitt going to say that "We need someone that knows the economy and I know the economy"?

Kind of like the guy that constantly says how big his d**k is.
we all know the truth about 'that' guy.

Cain just lied when Ron paul asked him that question and his answer to everything is the 999 plan

Cain just basically said Auditing the Fed STILL isn't necessary and that its all about 999. LOL.

Possible, but I believe we are already in a trade war.

I do not believe the U.S.A would be attacked but
if China started going broke and not making money
your right they might start some stuff and we would be fighting
a proxy war.. Still we have to do something about trading..

Does anyone else find the *jokes* kind of blase/corny/dee deeee deeee

This debate forum seems terribly crappy.

I'm not too sure about term limits
I'm on the fence on that one

If someone has a great record and knows alot about the industry then why should he leave?

Ron kind of stammered and stuttered through that question. He didn't really get his point or question across in a truly coherent manner. This is why "political speak" can be beneficial at times.

I really hope Ron gets more face-time tonight, or he's going to come out the big loser, right there with Bachmann and Hunstman.

If Mitt truly understood the economy, he would know that it is not the responsibility of the president to run it.

I like Cain, but he is totally bombing this debate.
He might aswell just have a button in front of him that when pressed just says 9......9.....9.
He looks very unprepared.

I see where you are going with that MA, but to be honest, anything less would still allow those lifers (without a good record) to hang on in DC as long as they have some deep pocket contributors who want to keep that person in DC doing their dirty work..

I may be just overly optimistic, but I think that there are plenty of upright solid citizens who wouldn't mind spending a short time of their life representing the citizens' interests and not big money interests.

Keeping the terms relatively short, it will allow those bright lights to come forward on a revolving basis..

And if there is someone who has done a great job in the House and their term is up, they could move on up the ladder to the Senate if the voters of their state so desire?

One thing is for sure, the first step towards being able to have the pleasure of debating this issue is clear..

Throw the Bums out!!!
