Hart Senate building Inside, US Vets attempted to fly the US flag Upside Down ( Sign of Distress), and the police told them they could not do so, they still went ahead and were placed under arrest.

Veterans are speaking out publicly via, MSM, Internet Feeds and giving there credentials too. Some were high ranking Vets.

Six protesters arrested in Hart Senate Office Building

Six protesters were arrested in the Hart Senate Office Building Tuesday, U.S. Capitol Police reported.

The protesters, who were carrying banners, were arrested shortly after 11:30 a.m. at the office building, located at C and E Streets in Northeast D.C.

You forgot to mention they wanted to fly the flag upside down like good commie zombies.

The above poster is correct. The upside down flag is not a symbol of disrespect. It's a symbol of distress.

If that's what the commies had to tell them to get them to play along, then I'll accept that explanation, it means something far different to the anti americans. Next step is flag burning.

In that situation you would be right and I will join you in feeling a sense of disgust. There's only two explanations for a burned flag. Disposal of a tattered/damaged flag or disrespect...and it will be fairly easy to see that the flag wasn't damaged to begin with.

I kinda doubt the vets will burn their own flag, however.

That is really uncalled for, since most of these brave men and women put their lives on the live to express Freedom.

The Vet's are clearly distressed about what is transpiring in the USA, or they would not be protesting.

So these vets had the balls to sign a piece of paper that said they'd take a bullet but they don't have the gumption to turn as one and walk out if some idgit with a bullhorn decides to burn a flag?

and it matters why? flying the flag upside down is just as much a sign of respect as if it were right side up...didn't you take a look around during 9/11? I saw many flags flying upside down...doesn't mean they're going to burn them either...you're just making the false assumption that anybody at the OWS is an extremist who hates his country...these are vets...and deserve at least a modicum of respect...because they've respected their country to the fullest...

One protest in DC Paved the way for African Americans to get equal rights. One protest made way for womens rights and the end to the war. This is Everywherre. Im not gonig to be told about a movement from someone who obviously has never been to one. Im writing this right now from the occupy Baltimore site. Yes some people here seem a bit communist, but who cares? We are all people fed up this bullsh*T two party corrupt system you call a government.

This protest shut down a Civil Rights Icon from being allowed to speak, who is a real veteran of protests so you guys have zero legitimacy.
