Hi All,

Recently we investigated the Town Hall in Shaftsbury, Dorset, during the investigation whilst asking for a clear sign of some one being with us the lights to the main hall came on by them selves.

This was caught on the tape as well as some K2 Work and a EVP. Have a look and see what you guys make of this.

great video. thanks for sharing.
this foul smell i encountered myself, imo, its definetely something spiritual.
i want to help your search for the paranormal and have a hint for you. before you played the evp at the end of your video, there is this loud knocking sound and i had the problem that i wanted to hear the evp and turned up the volume. but what i first got were the heavy knocks or bumps, was not very nice to experience. it would be good if you prevented such things, but please dont take this hint as an offense. cheers

So we have to take your word that the lights turned on.... okay.
I like how you say that you're sceptical too.... makes me laugh, you have all the equipment and are out there travelling around to "haunted" places... doesn't sound too sceptical to me.

Man.....

That was pretty cool and whereas I hate to be a skeptic, there's really no way to know if someone off camera turned on the lights. With that said, it was strange that the EMF reader had two steady lights for so long and from the little I've read, that can happen around cooper pipes. Perhaps they were near some pipes that were leaking fumes, hence the foul smell? I just don't know but it's an interesting video.

As for the EVP, those things have always freaked me out and I have no clue what it was saying but it certainly sounded like a young girl, didn't it? Good find, OP.

TG

EDIT: Didn't realize you were part of the actual investigation on this, OP. Definite S&F for you. Thanks for sharing!

Hi, we do keep a sceptical view of things, hence why we provide possible explinations and say that we are not saying its paranormal but let people decide for themselves. This is not the way many teams work who just post endless pics and clips or 'orbs' that are nothing more than dust !!!

We always look for the reasonable explination before we present anything, we have actually been speaking with the council who run this building for the last few weeks trying to explain why this happened, they cant replicate what we caught nor can they explain it .. soo .. we prersent it. We have debunked many things during our investigations but we dont post those clips up as no one is intrested in that stuff.

Thanks for the feedback. I can promise you 100% that no one turned the lights on lol .. as you say I was actually there. Its me in the clip lol !!! We NEVER fake anything. Thats not what we are about at all.

We record for hours and hours to get a clip like this. As you prob appreciate, this was a 7 hour investigation and it produced two small video clips and one small EVP.

Bit like fishing this game lol. Lots and lots of waiting about !!!

Did anyone else think the EVP sounded like-
"In two days"
in a kinda 'irish' accent???

Oh re the copper pipes, we have seen this before in baselines. What you dont see in the clip is the 10 mins or so we spend walking about taking readings and checking for natural back ground emf. There was one spot in this room that gave out back ground readings, it was a small wall heater that was on the other side of the room, once you were two feet from it then the back ground reading dropped off.

OP...and the camera was focused on you. Why?

Wouldnt the camera be focused on the room? Not saying this didnt happen, just curious as to the camera positioning......

No good question .. we were actually shooting a small training video for new members showing calling out and investigation methods, hence why the cam was on me. lol !!

Well if you just said "WOW a ghost turned off the light" then people would just call you crazy... you don't seem stupid or naive so you obviously know what you're doing and you know that with "fence sitting" or at least appearing to, you're going to get more attention and more respectful comments and questions.
I don't blame you at all, but I don't buy it either.

we have actually been speaking with the council who run this building for the last few weeks trying to explain why this happened, they cant replicate what we caught nor can they explain it

Really? They can't "replicate" a light turning on and off?

Try pressing the switch.

Also you say that this happened to another "team" and the council have investigated and found no problem with wiring and can't say how this happened.
So you're telling me that the council, at the behest of some ghost hunters, sent workmen/electricians out to this place to test the wiring and electrics to see if there was a problem..... really?

Again, not sure that I buy that,

We have debunked many things during our investigations but we dont post those clips up as no one is intrested in that stuff.

No I'm sure they're not... because that would be 99% of your footage.
Nothing.... and people saying "It's ok, that noise was me"

People don't want to see that right? So you give them the good stuff... people stood off camera flicking light switches and people whispering into tape recorders....

Ooooooooooooo

I did not see that the councel went after to investigate the light box, only that they were not aware of any prior problem with the lights but I would not chalk it up to Casper either.

Thanks for sharing the vid OP

So how do they know that there isn't a fault with the wiring?
How do we know that it isn't an electrical fault causing the lights to go on an off?

As the council say they can't replicate this, I was assuming that they had been there and tested it and checked the wiring, if not... why are we even discussing this? Go there and check the electrics.

Seriously...

If you note from our video we do say 'we are not saying it Paranormal' and 'we thought it could be a fault with the light' and also 'it may be a fault with the lights that just occured on that night' at no point are we saying 'this is definately a paranormal experience'

All we can do is check with the council and ask are they aware of a fault. The fact is they are not. When the motion sensor is off they have never known the lights to come on of their own accord. Its never happened to them before. Short of us paying a sparky to come in and do a full survey on the building we cant do any better than that other than present what we know.

I actually find that pretty offensive tbh !! We spend hours and hours looking for evidence, often explaining things and putting peoples minds at rest. We would NEVER stand out of camera shot flicking light switches and whispering into voice recorders. Whats the point, we are not on the TV thinking of what we need to capture next in order to get ratings. We recently started presenting our EVP and video findings on the net as we realised we had lots of stuff that people might find intresting. I am afraid that trickery and deception is not at all what we are about. We might carry out four or five investigation before we have enough to show even a 5 minute video. What would be the point of spending hours doing this just to fake it for a few hundred youtube hits. You see my point i'm sure !!!

After investigations team members spend hours reviewing video and audio then re checking and meeting to go over the evidence. I appreciate people are sceptical (I was more on the sceptical side when I started investigating, thinking eveything could be explained) however just leaving sarcastic comments really is pretty petty and not at all contructive.

We appreciate constructive comments and try within reason to bottom out any strange events we capture before we present them.
