Why do some see/hear ghosts, while others do not ???

I have always been curious as to why some people see and hear ghosts, and others do not ? why do you think this is so ? do you think it is to do with the way a persons brain is wired ? or is it totally unrelated to that. I have heard what I believe to have been a ghost, I was staying at a house about 3 years ago, I came out of the shower, and clearly heard a woman say, hello abbie, abbie being the family's dog, not recognizing the voice i went downstairs, and as you may expect no one is there, and had not been for several hours.
Maybe we will never know for sure until we ourselves pass over, but I would just be interested to get others opinions on this and similar things.

Their spiritual pressure isn't high enough, obviously

probably has to do with the impact they let media have on them

Most likely the people who experience paranormal phenomena while others do not are more in tuned to the vibrational frequency and plane that the dead live in...

Its a gift and those who have it are truly blessed. Pay no mind to the skeptics for they will learn the truth. Personally I think they are scared. I've had quite a few experiences in my life and I'm thankful for them.

Well who knows what people are really hearing/seeing ? Ghosts, alternate realities, past, future. I have no clue, but I know what I heard, and that was something that was here in this physical reality that we perceive.

I won't directly reply. However, there are so many things out there that scientists poo poo.

Personally, I believe there is so much more to our lives. M-Theory, different dimensions and a host of other hypothesized reasons that paranormal events happens.

If you experience it, then it is real. If a scientist observes it....it is subject to scrutiny, objectivity, and worst............ dismissive incredulity.

The paranormal is the only thing that gives me hope that life continues on. I'm not giving up on that belief. Guess I ruined my first sentence,

I got into searching for spirits a couple of years ago as a skeptic and got wowed twice in that time frame. Most people think they are a lightening rod and special, so much that they think only they have contact with spirits.

Not true. As a skeptic that was on the fence leaning toward hoax but being as open minded as I could, I had a couple of experiences that shook my foundation and belief in the paranormal which i hold close to the chest.

It doesn't take any one special to encounter the paranormal. Mainly it takes the right time at the right place to become a believer.

Midnight is not the witching hour and its more like between 2 and 5 am that we found active confrontations or sightings.

This is not an oxymoron but be skeptical with an open mind leaning toward debunking what you encounter and the results will solidify your beliefs like mine were, I believe.

It takes no special talents or claims to have an encounter, Just be in the right place at the right time.

Spirits are not showmen that perform on cue or at a certain time. It may take several trips to a site to encounter them or it may happen quite fast.

One of mine was an accidental encounter at 3 am and the other involved captured film that the camera guy didn't see in real time but showed up clearly on tape.

EVP's can be obtained anywhere at anytime I was shown. All you have to do is try it yourself.

Usually if I put myself in a more deistic state of mind, I can make the ghosts go away. If I put myself in a more spiritual state of mind, they become more clear. But they never say anything important, so I just ignore them now. Some people might communicate better than others.

How someone can see a ghost, spirit or unseen entity basically only with two way.
First the entity show them self to someone or certain people in an area.
Entity like this didnt have dense body particle. When they want to be seen, they make it denser, and it will depend on how good they are to make it dense enough and for how long. When it happen, they will need lots of energy and will drain it from them fast enough, depends on how powerful they are.

That is why sometimes someone only see a dark figure and transparent very fast and then gone and some can see it like a solid 3d object.
It is like looking at steam, when the particle is wide apart, it almost unseen, but when dense enough we can see it like a white smoke, and if more denser we will see it as water.

Second is the ability of someone, if they can focus a power (the word will be vary depends on what culture named it). The more power can be focused around eyes, the faster power rotating, the more someone can see it clearer. It is like using a cam, not a good one cant captured anything. When it get better it can capture image in very slow frame rate or even only like one frame, and usually in black or white. The better cam will captured a video with more frame rate and with colours, start from basic colours till in full colour.
Some people already born with this condition in many level, but this can be learned. The different is how good a technique they use and how good their talent are.

Some people have a wider hearing range than others.

Some people can see colors better than others.

Some people can taste or smell much more or less than others.

People are variable in their abilities to perceive. Just like they are variable in their abilities to play tennis, cook, solve math problems, etc.

Want to blame it all on how "the brain is wired?"

Doesn't make much sense to me. Does someone cook well because of how their "brain is wired" or because they successfully learned how to cook well?

If you want to wait until you go to the "other side" to know, be my guest. But there are plenty of people alive today who have been there and are willing to talk about it. You can find books, web sites, all kinds of resources. So you needn't stay ignorant unless you really prefer it that way.

My take? People are, ultimately, spiritual beings. They have enormous potential abilities, but have forgotten most of them in order to "make life more interesting." Others, wishing for an even more interesting life, figured out how to take advantage of our desire to forget to make most of us forget everything but our current life, and believe we are just bodies. Actually, our bodies are kind of like advanced pets. The have their own minds, but are simple-minded compared to us. The idea that our mind is in our brain is one of the cruel jokes being played on us by the guys who figured out how to make us forget everything. Since they did that, they have been getting away with murder. And we can never remember who did it!

On the other side of the coin I could say, Why do normal people live their lives and crazy people claim to have seen ghosts?

Don't try and make out because I haven't seen a ghost means there is something wrong with me...

Some people Drink Alcohol, some don't
maybe you see & hear what you want to.

You dont see ghosts with your eyes, you see them with your mind. With you "inner" eye.
What makes one more sensitive I dont know for sure.
MIght be unlocked chacrasystem in your body? Might be trauma during childhood?
There might also be a genetic or more specific para-genetic role in it as well.

Remember that your percived reality are built up in your brain. All the processes can be liked to productionplants that build up a certain parts of our inner "world". What is truly going on isnt something that you can percieve. But for some they start to cross the barrier from their built up world and how it truly is. They thus aremore likely to be victim by these energies as well. Horrible nightmares fueled on by an alien mind.

It comes down to what experiences were necessary for an individual in this life.

I energized my 3rd eye chakra years ago and can now see ethereal figures in dim light. That is, just well enough to make out profiles and movement. They always gather around me and sometimes dance, it's nice, must be elementals. Other times I see intruders crawling around my bed and ceiling as I go to sleep...

This is a frequency based universe, remember when old TV channels would flicker and merge as you change them? "Don't touch that dial!" is rather bland advice...

The veils will thin a bit more as we reach Samhain, ultimately merging at the end of this cycle.

Nope, not crazy. Quite sane.

I've seen a few things. Have little to no interest in chasing after them because the dead have nothing for me.

I am talking more from experience. I would love to give you them facts you need but its kind of hard to do that when experience and intuition is all your have.

So what you dismiss or take from the words I write is up to you.
