It is human nature to try and look for the good in everything. However, Some things are just bad, or just plain unfair in the Natural World. One can call it Natural Law. Like when a Male Grizzly mauls and kills a female's Cubs in order to mate with her.
Or concerning the human element, when one is forced to watch a family member suffer slowly and then perish from Cancer. It could also be like my neighbors who's baby daughter died of a brain tumor when just 8 months old. Some things are just plain negative. Or like you folks like to call it, Evil.
On your other point. Yeah, without a doubt we are more than our body. ~SheopleNation

Nature works perfectly... And sometimes it can be grusom and seem unfair, but everything is exactly how it should be...
In the case of Various ailments such as cancer, and the death of a child. Again these things are meant to be for one reason or another...though the reasons are not for me to say.... but i do have a theory. It is my belief that even in these cases your own accumulated Karma, or that afflicted person's, is what causes this to happen. The rule of "do onto others" applies even into death, and rebirth.
For example...
If you kill, you will be killed.
If you cause harm, you will be harmed....
If you take a childs life, your child will be taken...
etc etc...
You reap what you sow, in this life or the next...
So as i've stated, everything is as it should be... life is perfection.
The only real flaws are our thoughts and actions in your incarnation
Please understand that I recognize your civil tone, so assume I am responding the same.
I disagree my friend. Nature is flawed. Sometimes it's a reproductive flaw, and other times it is a productive flaw. Meaning, Sometimes life kills itself.
Well, That's quite a theory you have there. I am gonna stay calm here. You can't honestly believe that another's accumalated karma has any kind of power or priority over another life do you?
Listen, My Aunt died of breast cancer. We watched her die very slowly. I can tell you that she was the most kindest person I have ever known in my entire life. And the list goes on..............
That is one that I hope is true. However, what if you kill in the defense of those who you love? See what I am saying? I do believe in karma, but not in the depth that you do.
In a perfect World, that would be the case. I don't believe the people of Hiroshima, Nagasaki or dresden collectively deserved what they got. Neither did the millions of Women and children who were raped in Africa within the last 10 years.
Here is another one I hope to be true, but it doesn't apply to my neighbor because she is Catholic and has never had an abortion, let alone harmed a child. Yet, She lost her's to a tumor when her daughter was just 8 months old. Enough said.
Universal human values are not the end all completion of a so-called perfect order.
Will it take planet Earth to be destroyed by our own hands for people to understand that lie?
There is only Natural Law. Which as I have stated, is not always what we Humans deem to be as perfect.
With that being said. You and I may disagree, but I like your style.

Yes but love is the easy path...
Why bring more pain to yourself then you need to?
Life is painful enough as it is
And Hell does not exist... Just so you know

Why is it in our human nature to look for the good in everything? Why is that possible or better yet, who made that possible?
How did the "universe" create human beings with critical thinking brains and emotions?
What exactly is the purpose for your God and what is your God's purpose for creating man?
You tell me to use my mind, but you offer up nothing to contemplate.

Because we have evolved into more peaceful creatures, as crazy as that sounds. Early Man was much more cruel to one another. We would kill in order to possess fire. We would simply kill another in order to eat. We would simply kill in order to mate. We would simply rape in order to have sex. It was brutal.
Just imagine a clan of cave men walking into you and your families lone camp. There was no "good" and there certainly was no God. There was only ruthless survival. which = natural law.
How did the "universe" create human beings with critical thinking brains and emotions?
If I had the answer to that, I would be a very rich man.
What exactly is the purpose for your God and what is your God's purpose for creating man?
Why does there have to be a purpose? Life is life. Maybe that's it, to live and to love. You need to stop thinking of God as a Man, or in some kind of human form.
You tell me to use my mind, but you offer up nothing to contemplate.
I offer plenty, only you can't comprehend it because you have your shades pulled down.

Nah, You just have your head stuck in the ground. You choose to see what you only want to see. Then you come back every time with some weak minded condescending drivel filled retort. Tunnel vision at it's best. ~SheopleNation

I think you have that backwards.
You're the one who refuses to post details about what you believe for fear of someone disagreeing with you. You've had a history of this throughout every thread.
You call other people "intellectual infants" and other names and yet you have never provided ANY information to suggest you know anything at all. You're full of rhetoric with nothing to back it up.
So far, in another thread, you've mentioned the power of the universe and that God is the universe. How come you won't go in to detail about that? Could it be that you simply don't understand it?
Could it be that this is a "faith" or a "feeling" that you can't describe? Did it ever occur to you that it's no different than the "faith" people put in Jesus? So, how can you be so critical of those who do? You're in the same boat as them and yet you refuse to admit it, but try to put everyone else down out of your own low self esteem and foolishness.
