Is that the reason I have to sleep on the sofa all the time? Yeah, I got a bad attitude, but it works for me.. and I don't get bothered with pesky little details much!

Then again, it might just be that crazy gleam in my eye... that doesn't go very well with the brush axe in interpersonal relationships!

I enjoy these kind of posts . I'm just a typical guy who plays video games, wanders the Internet for information, can cook, sew, clean your house, cut and split the firewood, provide basic labor and medical services, do any other menial task required, but quite proficient in welding and fabricating, can fix just about anything, make my own fuel, and use that fuel to provide 110V to where it is needed.

I'm sorry, I almost forgot.....I can hit a 5 inch target at 300 yards with open sights with nothing more than an SKS. I own a .30-06 now with your basic 3x9 scope. Hitting the "F" in a 3 lb Folgers coffee can at 100 yds is too easy..

I dunno... last time I passed the jeep on my patrol, it was rockin', so i didn't go knockin'... just left a note that said "thanks for the coffee" stuck to the spare tire, and moved on.

Bug out at home is just fine with me. Or go to family. They have land and they're older so I'd be caring for them.

"Sheltering in place" isn't an option for me. The zombies are pretty thick around here even in the best of times. It's the road for me - or, more accurately, the woodline just off the road.

Travelers need to keep in mind that roads are just "game trails" for humans, and where you find a game trail, you'll find predators laying in ambush... or, if I find them first, just laying. Consider them "cholera factories".

Yup, and travel - on foot no less with no known destination or refuge - would likely be hard on them, Better digging in there.

My folks are all 200 or 300 miles from here, and already in a more defensible place, so it's foot travel for me, since it would be impractical and foolhardy to try to bring them here.
