Lets see.. your in a centrally located KZ, roaming patrols would not "roam" too far from central compound, if your in a valley, your fish in a bucket, if your on the high ground, then their is a chance for defense..

I would gather INTEL on you long before I was dumb enough to even let you be aware of my presence, and even then, I would never let you know my real skills or abilities, and I would "avoid" going anywhere near that KZ (death from above)..

A good .50, 20mm single shot, air cooled weapon, would make sure you are keeping nice and "aware" of the wilderness around you..

I would be one of your worst nightmares (An Independent that thinks for themselves, and would rather die by themselves, rather then be a burden on anyone.), as I can assure you, your internal "love fest" concept of a communal living, would only end up with the "haves" verses the "have not's", and your children will become slaves and love children of those that desire them..

Your offering a repeat performance (just on a smaller scale) of what is happening in the world now..

I Do not trust you, have no intention of trusting you OP, nor anyone associated with your "community"..

You have been "adjusting" the scenario, based upon oppositional reactions to your hypothetical application of a post apocalyptic view, in other words, you have been changing the diagram for a community, hence making anything one has to say about it, a rather pointless action of investigation..

We are all 50/50 on the scale of good and evil, neither one rates higher then the other (sad but true), just depends on which end you want to lean to with your free will..

Truth be told, I would "trust absolutely Nobody" after the fall, because everyone will be looking for a means to live just another day..

I can also hunt, fish, shoot, chop wood, and build a shelter. I grew up with four hunting brothers and can hold my own against them. I loved growing up that way .

Ah dollars...in the SHTF situation that's what i call kindling for the fire.
