I don't know if there's any post about Karla Turner here on ATS, but sisnse I was looking for one and didn't fined it here it goes.

Sorry if I'm in the wrong area, change if must do mods thanks in advance.

...........................................................................................

Filmed in 1994 the late Dr. Karla Turner, reseacher of UFO and military abductions, discusses her findings after years of personal experience and working closely with many abductees. Her conclusions, reported in her works "Taken" and "Masquerade of Angels," are some of the most important to hear in the world today, but she was threatened for her work and shorty thereafter died under strange circumstances.

Dr Karla Turner's books went out of print and she was forgotten and/or unknown by many in the UFO research community. Others with whom Dr. Turner worked are too afraid to speak publicly. Please take the time to review Dr. Turner's work; it is monumental, and of great import for the future of human freedom.

I love her work! I've had my own experiences with reptoids, so her research really spoke to me! Those who entertain this as an intellectual debate may find it more challenging. Can you imagine only reading about orgasm instead of actually experiencing one? I think that's what happens to the skeptics.....it's not experiential for them....so they just can't comprehend the reality. Great Post! Whale rocks!

Oh! boy! yes, almost all that she talks about fits right in, exept that it looks like she was an atheist and I'm not, but she did know her thing.

I won't have time to watch these video's until Monday. How about a brief synopsis of her theories for us busy folks.

She gets down to all the ET theories, she covers almost everything, she most talks about abductee and implants etc etc.

Her husband was an abductee as well, she was a psychologist, first she dealt with her husband and then other people from around the planet, she shares some of their stories.

Pretty interesting stuff, don't miss it.

Sorry to necro the thread. I recently found about her. Her story seem very interesting. Basically she is claiming the aliens have a malicious agenda and they want to remain hidden, that's why the disclosure is not there. The shadow government is also (probably forcefully) co-operating with them and that's the reason for the cover-up. She's saying the likes of Greer who are promoting the idea of benevolent aliens are spreading disinfo on purpose to further hide the malicious agenda of aliens.

When you think of it her claims are quite curious as well as her story. She claimed she got abducted and the experiments affected her health negatively. She then passed away due to a fast-paced cancer in 1996. Typical X-Files scenario. But, the X-Files episodes in which Scully got cancer due to her abductions were also shot that year (Season 4) and when you think of it, it makes her story sound like it's a movie scenario. When you watch it on TV first you think it's fiction when you hear it in real life..

I also read that she passed two lie detector test and herself was a psychiatrist. Her claims combined with her death all come together in a very plausible and curious way. Yet there's very little discussion about this on ATS. I wonder why people run after never ending UFO videos on YouTube rather than chasing a case like this?

What's everybody's take on her story?

I have no idea about whether what she said has some truth in it or not. What she said is too far out there for me to believe. But, the two lectures I saw on Google are riveting! She certainly was an impressive speaker, and there is an overall sense that she believes these fascinating tales. She's one of those strange curiosities in my peripheral view.

I've been keenly interested in this subject for 17 years now. Karla Turner, although only leaving us 3 small books (Into The Fringe, Taken, Masquerade of Angels), and a few videos that can be found on youtube, is one of the few researchers that I completely trust. She was highly intelligent (I believe she was an English teacher... not sure about Psychiatry), soft-spoken, and seemed very humble. The objective way that she approaches the subject is probably what I love most about her, though. She doesn't force any preconceived beliefs upon the evidence. If she had more time, she could have become one of the titans of the field like Jacques Vallee.

dr. karla turner was a well respected woman, who, after having her and her family experience multiple encounters, spent the rest of her life researching and working with others, such as barbara bartholic.(her doctarate was english btw). she was also a devout christian for anyone that is interested

she was exposed to heavy does of radiation which caused her fast acting cancer; i do not know who did this to her, it would appear government, but i do think that the visitors were extremely angry with her...so who can say

everything she says is true. if it is too 'far out' to believe, and you are abductee, i am very sorry...you are deluded.

there is no politically correct way to say that..i am abductee and i know of what i speak--i found her about a year, year and a half ago...check out the entire story of ted rice--in order to truly understand what is happening all experiencers, abductees must look at all the evidence--and this is good, true information

there is a good video on the little site in my signature, and we discuss her often on the little forum attached if anyone wants to open thier minds and know the truth ::thumbs::

It is far out there, julia53, even if it's true. You are speaking about a totally different world-view than many of us have even on our clearest, most perceptive days. It seems bizarre that anyone would find believing in the theory of alien abductions as easy. Karla Turner made it sound quite terrifying. I don't rule it out, but I, like many others I'm sure, find it to be so baffling that all I can do is view it as a complete outsider. In my view, the "experiencers" are not to be dismissed, and should be investigated with seriousness, not laughed at.

So, I hope I didn't offend you by saying it's too far out there for me to believe. It was not my intention

I started a new thread under the UFO subforum and put a link to this one. I thought it would be a better place to discuss the case since this thread is almost 2 years old and in a kind of backwater subforum

Here's the link to the new thread:

Cheers.
