Thursday OcTOBER 6, 2011. A central NY man beat a deer to death with a shovel after it jumped through his workshopw window. The man tried to get the buck to believe but it lunged at him several times starting the fight for several minutes until the man killed the buck with a final blow to the head.

In New York, eh? I hope they don't start making us register our shovels...extra tax stamps, special permits, etc. Pretty sure the 2nd doesn't protect shovels at all...

Lol i probably would have too When i go hunting i only bring a few bullets. If the deere doesnt die with the first shot i actually hit it in the head with a hammer until it dies. People tell me i am too cheap to buy bullets. I can honestly say i never killed a deer with a shovel but i have with a gun, a hammer and a large skillet. The deer that jumped through the guys window was probably just scared of the traffic and had no where to go.

No, there is ways to get the wild taste out of it. I always soak the mat in butter milk or vinegar over night befor i cook it in a crock pot just like a roast would be cooked.

I don't know i tried to kill a big buck with a hammer once after I hit it with my truck. Actually he hit the side of my truck and broke his back. All it did was piss him off. Had to use the gun that i really didn't want to break out from it's spot

Its hard to kill a deer with a metal object of any kind if it can still stand up. I make sure the deer is down first. We have some of the biggest bucks and doe around and you cant just walk up on the buck because they will either do 2 things. They will run or attack.

I killed a buck that had been hit by a car and broken its hip. Just grabbed his antlers and broke his neck.

Real macho mental imagery.
I personally have never killed a deer, but i'm in UK and we're not allowed to hunt them I think.
