The report, which is posted online, lists a litany of failures - including several instances of 15-year-olds being employed by the unnamed suppliers, nearly two-thirds of factories failing to pay workers properly, long hours and poor environmental and safety credentials. The company, not surprisingly, says it wants to "eliminate" these violations

I don't think you know much about Jobs or Apple. I also don't think you know what a communist is. Jobs was pretty much a dirt bag. He was just really good at selling overpriced junk to idiots.

I bet a good search of your house would turn up items made in China or perhaps other suspect countries of origin. Perhaps the computer or laptop you made your post on has components made in China? Easy to sit there and point the finger while you happily feed the beast.

Employing 15 year olds! The horror! I began working when I was 14 to make spare money. Sadly, these poor children may need the money to live.

As the Apple iPad launches in the UK on Friday, an investigation shared with The Daily Telegraph reveals the working conditions at Foxconn, the company in China which makes products for the world's largest technology firm.

While Apple has risen to become the world’s largest technology firm, Foxconn, the maker of almost all of its devices, appears to have broken under the pressure of keeping up with new orders.

Two more workers attempted to commit suicide on Thursday by jumping from the top of dormitory buildings at its giant Longhua factory, according to sources at the site. Both survived and are currently hospitalised.

On Wednesday night, just hours after the chairman of Foxconn assured hundreds of reporters that the plant was under control, a 23-year-old man killed himself.

So far, at least 16 people have jumped from high buildings at the factory so far this year, with 12 deaths. A further 20 people were stopped by the company before they could attempt to kill themselves.

The hysteria at Longhua, where between 300,000 and 400,000 employees eat, work and sleep, has grown to such a pitch that workers have twisted Foxconn’s Chinese name so that it now sounds like: “Run to your Death”.

I simply said your a hypocrite. I never said I agree with child labor or China in general. In fact I despise communist ideology or child labor for that matter.

However for you to sit there in the comfort of your home while you sip Chinese tea, chatting on ATS on your Chinese made computer and soon going to bed on your chinese mattress, it's a bit rich to hear such tripe from you.

And I never said I liked Steve Jobs. I simply have a respect for all humans. I don't agree with many of his or Apples policies, but must I be so inhuman as to not at least wish him well? Live your life in hatred if you must, I refuse to.

Thats the funny thing about communists/socialists, they cry until they are blue in the face about child labor and unfair working conditions, but soon as they get what they want what do they do?
