Hewlett-Packard’s Cupertino campus was shut down on Wednesday while local police searched for a suspect of a multiple homicide still on the run who shot and wounded one of the company’s employees. At least three of Apple’s Cupertino, Calif. campus office buildings were also locked down in the wake of the shooting, Wired.com has learned.

You can google Richard Farley and Laura Black for what is probably the worst workplace shooting in Silicon Valley. In this case, it took place at an old cement plant, not a high tech company. In fact, I find it odd the shooter went to that side of town. It would have been way easier to go high in the Santa Cruz mountains. Manhunts in the Santa Cruz Mountains can go on for weeks.
