I heard this mentioned on CNN, and had to check into it, as my brother lives there.

It seems the shooter is still on the loose at this point. I hope it doesn't develop into any more killing before he's caught, but that remains to be seen.

My thoughts go out to the victims and their families. Whatever this guy's grievance is, I'm sure people didn't deserve to get shot over it.

Yeah I've heard about this as well. I used to live in Cupertino/Sunnyvale Area and have a lot of friends in that exact area of the shootings. I'm waiting for updates locally and I hope there's no more bodies to count. Weird thing is that neighborhood is predominantly Asian so I wouldn't expect something like this to happen.

If I had to guess the Shooter is from Rancho Area which is full of a bunch of poor people being forced outta their homes by Investors. But that's just an Educated guess because there isn't to many other problems in that area.

Here's an update....8 people have been shot with an Ak-47 type of assault rifle nobody is confirmed Dead but it is believed 2 are dead. The man tried to carjack somebody and failed then shot the person as they were driving away. There is a shelter in place order because they don't know where the Gunman is but they believe he has broken into a house in Sunnyvale area and is holding out there but this part is unconfirmed.

Youtube did have a video of him interviewing Jesse Jackson at the Walker Hawkins Memorial, but alas it has been removed. I wonder what set this guy off? Nobody seems to want to discuss that part of this tragedy.. according to this web site, Allman is a producer for a cable access station in San Jose called CreaTV.

A bit more information.. According to another web site, he is also the author of the book "Saving Grace" about domestic violence.

The alleged shooter, Shareef Allman is dead. He was cornered around 7:30am in Sunnyvale. Three are confirmed dead from the quarry shooting, six others are listed in critical condition. One woman that he attempted to carjack after the quarry shooting, was also allegedly shot by him, and is listed in stable condition.

It's rather disturbing when you see most of the stories in the media attempting to make him out to be Ghandi or another Sister Theresa.

I don't get that at all, because amazon isn't showing any books authored by Shareef Allman. I also found nothing by him on ebay.

There's nothing really unusual about it. Less than an hour after the news broke, all the videos of him with Jesse Jackson on Youtube were deleted. It's just another media sponsored web scrubbing exercise.. The MSM have more articles about what a non-violent person he was rather than the fact he was a cold-blooded killer and hurt a lot of people with his actions.

His book is a joke, seeing that his ex-wife has now come forward saying that he had a very violent temper, hated for people to disagree with him, and struck her in the head with a lamp rendering her unconscious prior to their breakup.

The community cable access program he was a producer for claims they let him go a year ago, and said they were fearful for their safety as well prior to his death. There are a few of his real2real videos online still however.

For a "man of peace" as the NAACP refers to him, he sure had an interesting way of showing it.. I wonder if MLK ever kept an arsenal of guns, beat his wife, racked up numerous DUI's, forged documents, or went on any killing sprees? If they release the autopsy report, I'd guess he was probably under the influence of mind altering substances. I could be wrong though and he was just crazy.
