I'll let you all know now, this is a rant/military conspiracy. Please bare with me.

So, today the company first sergeant walked into our shop and told us all to report to the company office to receive our influenza vaccination. Me and a fellow tin foiler at my shop were thinkin screw that, they aint gettin me with that. but we still have to go over and tell them that we refuse in one way or another. they give you a little questionnaire to fill out to see if it is unsafe for you to receive the vaccination. so me and my buddy mark yes on everything that might possibly apply. ie;
have you been feeling sick or had a fever?
have you had serious negative reactions to flu vaccines in the past?
are you allergic to this stuff (big list)?

I get to the front of the line with my paper and the doc starts questioning me about my 'yes''

Doc- "Soooo, uhhhh.... how have you been sick lately?"
Me- "I've had a stuffy nose."
Doc- "Thats not that bad you should be fine. Sooo, uhhhh... what sort of negative reactions have you had to a flu vaccine?"
Me- "Well i felt fine before i got the vaccine, then i got it and got sick like a cold."
Doc- "Thats not serious..."
Me- "It is serious when you inflicted me with an otherwise, non-existent illness!"

This continues with us arguing and eventually the other Doc that was giving the vaccines yelled to both "I dont have time for this sh*t, get over here!"

So i do, and she tells me i need to go to sick call in the morning since i feel unable to get the flu vaccine but that i am also do for my typhoid vaccine and she can do it right now.

I respectfully decline to receive said vaccine and she asks why, i tell her because i know the history of what kind of stuff the military has secretly given the troops in the past and i wont be making that mistake.

She starts freaking out in front of everyone, and making me look like and idiot (but i dont care), and tells me i need to go see the commanding officer and get authorization to not get vaccines.

Thats the end of the rant and now i tie it in with conspiracy.

They make it such a hassle to not get the vaccine that everyone just does it, you should have seen everyone just lined up gettin shot up with everything with no questions asked. In bootcamp we had an assembly of docs we walked through and got like 10+ shots each. (I was ignorant to the facts at that time)

Its disgusting...

I wish I could be sympathetic, but if you signed and swore it's too late to start playing the individual. They own you. You should toe the line, or get the hell out.

I had a similar issue.
Are you getting the vaccination, they asked?
Nope, said I.
You'll infect everyone here if you don't, they said.
I replied, if I infect everyone, then the vaccinations are useless.

Needless to say, I filled out the waiver and did not get the flu shot.

I take it you haven't had the anthrax or small pox vaccinations yet? If you get deployed, I don't know that you can refuse those so easily, or is the army different now?

Nope, got those. Small Pox? I suppose. The anthrax I got back in the 90's.

Small pox you would remember; it leaves a nice scar, but before that, a nice oozing sore. They had the brilliant idea to give us the vaccination before we went to the field for a month of simulated Iraq, and some of the guys had massive secondary infections. Nasty. A conspiracy of idiocy.

I had the same issue in December of 2010. The command I was in had medical come down and said everyone is taking the swine flu shot...that was when it was "an epidemic" yeah, anyway, I told the doc that I didn't want to take it because I knew it had thermisol in it, which has mercury in it, and he said, sorry bud, you have to, I refused and he said go see the CO. The CO said that everyone in the command will take it, no choice. He denied everyone that requested not to take it. I got the shot, got sick, and haven't been sick for almost 2 years...I am sick right now...but its not bad. I have also had Japanese influenza, smallpox, anthrax, and a number of unknown shots in my 5 years I spent in the marine corps. I got out, I have had more health issues since I got out than I have had in my entire life. Its sucks, I have issues from anxiety, to depression, to addiction, to weird illness's...

I feel ya man, I would go with what someone else said, GTFO you know what that means!!! get out before its too late...

Haha, ya I remember in basic standing in a line and having a needle in one arm, and then one in the other...then move forward, and same thing. Good news is that I didn't have to get the penicillin shot in my behind since I am allergic to it!

From my experiences in the military, anyone who is not an officer, and even most officers really, are just doing what they're told. They are just taking their orders and carrying them out, and attempt to do so with as little hassle as possible. I am almost positive that had a big part to play in the reactions that you received.

That doesn't make it right, and that is not a healthy way to handle stress, especially when you're in the military, but at least you didn't have to get the shot. I would bet that they won't want to deal with the hassle, and probably won't make you take it. You may be called in to talk to someone else, and if so, just politely explain that you have had bad experiences in the past, etc, etc...

Or just say you've already had your flu shot...tell them you got it at Walgreens or something, lol.

Be glad they no longer use the vaccination guns(jet injectors) they used back in the 1970s

endrtimes.blogspot.com...

The military claims there was no real danger from them BUT the military quit using them a few years later.

I always wondered if the high numbers of sailors that got sarcoidosis in the service was not caused by these jet injectors. A number of these sailors were on aircraft carriers and they were some of the only navy ships that had the jet injectors

Its been found that autoimmune Sarcoidosis is likely a Infectious disorder from the high numbers of nurses and firefighter/EMTs that have contracted this disorder.

By the way i have Sarcoidosis and have been both a Navy Sailor and a firefighter/EMT

I kind of wondered about that. The point of all the shots is ~supposed to be~ to make "stronger" soldiers. Yet, how come so many soldiers contend that after their string of shots that they got sick all the time--more health issues than they ever had before the shots.

Are they really making "weaker" soldiers by giving them all those shots? Because if so many soldiers get so many illnesses after the sets of shots....then they are causing a weak military.

Is there even a soldier out there who contends that they've never had a single health issue after they got all those shots, whether right after or 5 years down the road?

Interesting you bring that up, I didn't even go to Iraq or Afghanistan thank god, I have many of people in my life that have either been severely #ed up mentally, killed, or have committed suicide since they went "over there". I have friends now that say, "yeah they gave me all kinds of # that I don't know" Who knows what is in that stuff. Even if the bottle says it is a certain "something" do you really think at the level that the person giving is going to disagree with the bottle label...or the box it came from...or the physician that signed for the meds.. I have become weaker since I got out, I didn't even goto war...I had a wide variety of shots injected like I said....I have some issues that I'm not comfortable talking about because I think they are bizarre and strange...but I keep on trucking...ps I'm not collecting any disability...I'm not disabled....at least I don't think..haha.
life is nuts.

It's a numbers game. They look at MedPros and see a overall percentage of a unit and freak out that said unit is now non-deployable due to vaccinations. MedPros is also colore coded so it is always amusing to watch Commanders eyes bug out when they see a Red block.

Like it takes a long time to give shots.

Prior to Flu shots, I used to go some place out of the way, preferably a boiler room, and do push ups until I was red in the face and sweaty. The Doc would ask how I was feeling, and I would say, “Really? Look at me. I feel like crap.”

At which point I would be waved along. Flu shots are not a non deployable game breaker so it was ignored until next year and the cycle would repeat.

we(at my locations) have always been told that every shot we get is mandatory/required/lawful order

anthrax has been mandatory and optional, back and forth multiple times for a while there. even when it was "optional" we were forced. we signed the dotted line, we no longer have any freedom that they wish to take over.

^this stuff, motorcycles and plenty of other 'high risk activities' that you must recieve permission to partake in, they even wanted to push for banning tobacco use though it never made it far cause its too engrained in society.

only options are to suck it up, or punch out like me

just found out that you can type up a letter stating your reasons for not wanting to be vaccinated and have your CO sign it of and you are officially excused from getting them...
but im still GTFO

Before i began serving with my countries special foreces, me and all my buddies that past selection we given numerous injections. Some of my pals think that we were given some kind of liquid based locater beacon to keep tabs on us during combat and they think it can be used to moniter and even control our moods, emotions and responses! Naturally I pushed this aside as the usual black ops cloak and dagger conspiracy theory, at least that was until my second tour of duty, when in combat situations i found myself much more calm and relaxed then i had when serving with the regular infantry. Could be something to do with these suspicous vaccinations
