Adult stem cells are just as flexible, and without the side effect of still having the telomerase enzyme active, which basically keeps the cells dividing forever.

Sounds like immortality, but unchecked cellular growth in adults is called "cancer".


Very interesting. Never thought of that either. You know quite a bit about this subject. Since you know so much do you think it is possible in the near future to grow replacement organs either in humans or other animials?
