Hello,

Background:
It was my turn to cook dinner, so as I was walking out of a sub shop with dinner in hand, I looked up and thought how biblical the clouds looked, so I took 3 or 4 pics with my droid.

Very often I move pics and files off of my droid, just incase I get clumsy and drop it in the toilet or something.
Anyway, part of my routine when I move images off of my droid to my pc, is to always invert the colors using paintbrush. Weird I know, but I like the way clouds look when you invert the colors in paintbrush, but when I came accross the below images on my pc after I moved them off of my droid, the below images caught my eye... Do you see them too?

PICS WERE TAKEN:
1. Using a Droid 1 phone camera.
2. Taken Sept 28, 2011 at 6:15pm in S.E Virginia.
3. Three pics were taken.
4. Used USB from my droid to pc and dragged and dropped to move all my files and images from droid to pc.
5. I have no other imaging software tools other than painbrush...
6. Only inverted and zoomed in and out using paintbrush with these images.

-------------------------

1. This picture has no UFO in it. The reason I am showing it is that I don't see any lens flares or anything in this one. Should I see a lens flare or light flare in this pic too?
Image 1

2. In this image, look to the right of the light pole, you will see two lights that appear to "me" to be a triangle. NOTE: I did not see this object in the sky when I took the pic. Lens/Light flare?
Image 2

3. This is the third pic taken 5 to 10 seconds after image 2 above was taken.
This one really stands out to me...
Image 3

4. This image here is the same image as under bullet 2 above, but wanted to circle
what I see in case you don’t see it.
Image 4 with self made mark to point out the object

-------------------------

I suggest you invert the images. If you invert an image using paintbrush, would a lens flare show up while the image colors are inverted???

Lens issue or something? If so, why doesn't the first image have a lens issue?

Thoughts?

Wow cool you might just have something there....a TR-3B possibly??? I wish I had time to run them through a couple filters but I gotta get my ass to work. Perhaps try playing around with the contrast and such (AFTER you save copies from the originals). Good luck!

not trieng to be rude or come off like a jerk so ill open up with that. I happened to click picture three as my first to open and i could tell right off the bat what it is. Check my edited picture of #3 all i did was circle, write with paint pencil very sloppily (this is that) and show an arrow no other edits were made!

Bro, not rude at all. Heck, that's what this site is for...

By no means will I lose sleep if this turns out to be what you suggest it is.. Hey man, all we can do is keep taking pics of the sky and share amongs eachother.. All we got is each other...

Your suggestion does seem plausible.. Not final, but plausible...

Thanks.

Lens flare.

Good Post Pojo, Apparently i was a bit to stoned to make that observation. I think you nailed it on the head. I was trieng to figure out why the lens would only factor in on those two points (referring to the pic i posted) But yours is the frosting on the cake. Thats exactly what caused that Triangle

looks like a possible plane to me. Too many clouds. And if it was a lens flare don't you think the other lights below would also have the lens flare effect. Come on you lens flare fanatics.

Unfortunately the pictures can be brushed off as light interference. But, always keep your eyes to the sky!

My tthoughts ?

Points of light don't constitute a UFO. Except in the case of video that shows multiple points that are fixed and/or
show some fantastic menuevers, unheard of in modern aviation.

You got nuttin.

Look's suspiciously like plane landing-lights.Is there an airport within 10 miles of the location where you took the picture?
