This is article about a dutch family who have built 8000 square metre ark. Open to the public.

Huibers followed the instructions word for word from the Book of Genesis. Starting from the small version, he moved on to a full-scale replica. Three-and-a-half years later, the 8,000-square-meter vessel is almost ready to welcome its first guests.

rt.com...

Now to see if it is put in use or will it live out its days as a tourist attraction, only time will tell.
A big well done to the guy. Wouldn't mind living through the end of the world on his ark... if it occured.

Pretty dang cool... I'm a little far away to catch that free ride, but if God was telling me to do it and I had the means... I would do the same... Better to be prepared and have nothing happen, than not be prepared and risk it all... Though i'm jelous his B.O.B. blows door on mine, I'm not gonna hate!

Dinosaurs were called dragons, behemoths and such back in the day and whats to say that Noah did not have reptiles on the ark anyway?

Alligators are considered to have lived by evolutionary standards millions of years ago as did the turtles, what about monitor lizards?

Also many have the concept that Noah was not very smart and took mature animals, why would he have?

Babies would be smaller sleep more and eat less in the year long adventure.

Out of curiosity what does this have to do with 2012?

The funny thing is that there is no evidence whatsoever for a global flood. Whether or not there was a Noah and whether or not he built a boat, the event was not a global flood.

Why wonder how legless lizards only found in Baja ever got there from Mt Ararat? Why wonder how koalas got to Australia without any available food for them on the long walk to or from the Mediterranean area?

It simply did not happen.
