Ive read this over and over on this site. Apparently if you happen to find new age stuff interesting or if you actually happen to believe in it youre in bed with satan and youre going to hell. The people who say this are no different than people who say being gay is satanic or Islam is evil. Christianity (nor any other religion for that matter) is not the end-all-be-all of belief. There are billions of people out there who dont believe in what you believe. it doesnt meen theyre going to hell it just means theyre different.

Enough with the xenophobic view on beliefs. People have no choice in what feels right to them. Let them experience the universe in whatever way theyre soul feels is right. so long as it doesnt effect how somebody else experiences it.

Never mind, this will drag into a debate.

In debates I'm often called stupid and I can't type so well nor am I eloquent enough to defend against character assassinations.That's what the bible says, and Christians who take it seriously believe that.

It's usually Extremists who think like this and there is not much you can do about it. Their own belief system leaves no room for debate or compromise - you either fully agree with them and are good, or you disagree with aspects of their beliefs and you are evil. It's a sad mindset to possess.

People do have a choice. Ever heard of a cognitive model? It goes like this:

Event - thought or belief - feeling - behavior.

There is a choice point between event and thought or belief. People do have a choice!

So just believe what you want to, and go with it, unless you really care what other people think, and why should you if your belief system is strong enough to support you? People don't have a choice when they get a horrific terminal disease, but you are lying to yourself if you don't think people have a choice about what they believe.

Christians think white people are better than everyone else. Don't argue, it's disgustingly true. The blacks and other races interpret it as man, but it does clearly draw lines of who's better. Just the same as the Nazi's

Christians believe all other religions are going to go to hell unless they convert to christian. Nazi's believed any who followed another religion were scum too.

It is those who twist the Bible to their own viewpoints or don't even know enough about how their Bible became what it is. Where christianity began and the unholy reasons behind it. Those teachings are not Christ's. They are the Roman Catholics version of control and conversion of a bunch of upset pagans seeing their sacred beliefs removed one by one. Most are unaware of this and when they do find the historical evidence does exist they did indeed change God's word to suit their own purposes somehow it becomes a tool of deception used by Satan not a fact. Go ahead and believe whatever you want,it is your free choice to do so but when something is not fully investigated enough please refrain from telling those of us who seek answers elsewhere are going to burn in hell. The entire Bible is full of anti-christian behavior and a wrathful God.You all spend so much time looking for the Antichrist. Maybe what you are reading in this book that is missing so much is teaching you how to be as unchristlike as it gets?Millions have been killed in the name of this God but you criticize others for the same results a very mistranslated and edited book has caused? People are ignorant, the majority are not willing to listen to different point of views, especially if it opposes their own.
Its all in perception, nothing is good nor bad, everything just is. We are what label.

If by "new age" you are referring to occultism, especially western occultism (Agrippa, Crowley, LaVey), then usually "extremists" have a good reason to suspect wrongdoing. Most of the texts deal in "spells" to be cast on others, or to directly manipulate them. Often by means of summoning "demons", beings or "spirits", etc.

So don't pretend like this sort of occultism or mysticism is just a "new age" philosophy, because it's not. It's ancient, dark arts, real or not, it implies manipulation and deceit. Now, if you're referring to some of the "teachings" that these texts and philosophies offer, which are more libertarian or freedom oriented, then fine, people have no reason to be 'harassing' you over 'being evil'.

You may read any grimoire, and book of 'spells', any literature or accounts whatsoever of the occult, and a quick cursory glance will reveal that it is over-saturated with deceptive practices, manipulation and outright calls to dark forces.

Because, their beliefs say that your beliefs are evil. It's ignorant to call someone evil over that, but I understand it somewhat.

Fear of the unknown maybe?
