Oh yeah, because the capitilist banksters and corporations are taking such good care of us

The corporations and banksters ARE taking away our houses, our jobs, our pensions, our savings.

Not the commies and terrorists!

I just have a question. How do you figure its communists that are behind this? What source have you gotten this info from? I would think after all thats happened in the past 10 years, it would be obvious that the people would have to stand up at this point and do something. Therefore I don't see where the commies have anything to do with this. I think its more people are just plain fed up with the system ripping all of us off.

I know many people that support these protesters, and they do not have communist leanings. They are a mix of Republicans, Democrats, and Libertarians that want our country back from these NWO order stooges that are running the show.

Wall Street, the Mega Multi-National Corporations and OUR Government are not for serving the people in this country anymore, but for expanding their power and control over the rest of the world in one big circle jerk, where they alone are the ones that benefit.

Wall Street makes a lot of money via foreign investments thanks to governmental policies, and it is those emerging markets that is their gravy train. The other 99% in America will have to buckle up and do with less as they phase out pensions, social security, and many other decades old programs, so that they can have more.

If you want to see how Wall Street and the Government are not two separate entities but are one in the same, then do some reading. In a sense, the marriage between the two is communistic where the government, wall street and mega corps are one calling the shots.

Look at who is running the show in the revolving door between Wall Street Banks, Mega Corps and Government.

www.businessinsider.com...
THE REVOLVING DOOR: 29 People Who Went From Wall Street To Washington To Wall Street

The list of Wall Streeters who have ended up with government jobs, and vice versa, is long.
Some would argue that the incestuous nature of the relationship and the revolving door between Washington and downtown Manhattan is dangerous........

wallstreetwarzone.com...

Wall Street’s #1 “Investment” = 100 Senators, 435 Congressmen & 261,000 Lobbyists, Then CEOs Get Huge 100:1 Payoffs, Taxpayers Stuck With The Tab!

therealnews.com...
10 Lobbyists Per Member Of Congress Fighting Effective Finance Regulations

If your for our current system where the top elite control everything, then you would be as far away as possible from a free market capitalist system, and closer toward a communist or fascists system as can be.

Voting for Ron Paul, and shrinking the government to 5% as well as Wall Street would cause a lot of the leeches at the top to fall. They require a big government in order to exist.

Of course, I have run across a few people that are against the protests, but on further discussion, they revealed their true nature, in that they have MONEY in the stock market so, they would support the Big Banks on Wall Street regardless of what ideologue they adopted.

I was at this event yesterday as well. At one time during the period of noon to about 2:30 PM, the numbers of people were up to at least 35. The police maintained a presence in the background. Yes, passersby honked their horns in solidarity with the protesters. An aged woman, riding down the sidewalk on one of those hover-round sort of chairs rode past, turned around and asked to participate. Somebody handed her a sign and she drove to the edge of the sidewalk and participated even in the sporadic chants.

As I was driving home I tuned into the local talk radio host's program. He referred to the protest as a "flash mob".
He also used quite a wide paintbrush to label the people participating as ignorant, most beyond hope of seeing what is really going on in our country, and some other choice phrases meant to elicit responses from his callers.

I was interested to hear that he claims he had no idea this event was going to occur, because I recall him often remarking how well informed he is.
And he just happened to pass by on his way to work and decided to stop and interview 2 people in the small crowd. From these two individuals, he surmised that everyone there were just a bunch of hippies who were doing the bidding of Michael Moore, etc. etc. etc.

I have some photos I took as well. As soon as I have more time, which could be a couple of days, unfortunately, I will figure out how to reduce them and load them into my album and attempt to link them to this, or another thread about this protest.

I don't know if I saw you there or not, gogovicmorrow. I asked some people if they were members of ATS and nobody I asked knew what ATS was. In case you were there when I was there, I was the old guy with the messy long hair and beard, wearing a blue jean jacket with a Veteran's for Peace patch on it, with a look of anger on my face. No, I'm not angry. I just look that way. At best, when I smile, I look sad

UPDATE FOR DAY 2!!!!!

Lexington downtown continues to resound with the sound of the populous showing support for the Occupy Wall-street Protest going on downtown.

Most of the constituency seems to be the younger generation more affected by the lack of jobs, but there are a few older generations represented as well.

The police maintain a presence, although at a comfortable distance in the warmth of their cruisers.

For the more conspiritorial minded there are even creepy guys lurking and watching the protest.

CIA? FBI? Local law inforcement? Or meerely curious citizen? Let the conspiracy begin...

Still waiting for my press credentials in the mail from ATS
A nice lanyard with ATS would work wonderfully!

I tried to upload but the uploads for ATS were down. If you have trouble you can upload them to www.tinypic.com without having an account and it will give you a URL to post the pics.

Anyone who needs a communist organization to get them to go out on the streets is not mad enough.
That and the fact that they are all clueless as to the bredth and scope of the communist ties organizing these things makes them at the very least look like sheeple.
Not making fun, calling it as I see it by observing the facts.
Glad to see there were only 20 people who got reeled in, hook line and sinker by this communist movement. We didn't shed blood for the communists to take control of this country.

Please share where you found communist ties to this movement. I'm not saying you are wrong. I just would love to see the proof of this.

Why do you insist that people who just want a fair shake from big money are communists?

These people have not gathered together under some kind of communist agenda, they have gathered to show solidarity in achieving their goals, even if those goals are a little confused.

I may not agree with many of the some of the things that these protesters are saying, but I will fight to the death for their right to say them.

Are you blind to these forums or purposely ignorant? There are at least 2 threads that are running right now that prove the communists are the organizers, I am not going to be redundant and post all of that here too.

Here is the main one,
commies proof thread

Another one who doesn't get it or is purposely ignorant. The organizers are communist, the people who show up are just sheeple, they can be anything it doesn't matter because the organizers are communist therefore the whole thing is communist. The only successful outcome it could concievably have is communist because the ones who control this movement are communist. Follow the money and who organizes.

I'm not communist.

Seems to me calling everyone who is protesting the 1% screwing us is ignorant... is the ignorant one.

I don't give a darn if labor unions, communists, hippies, or anyone else is joining the protest.

The people are feed up so quit blaming it on "communists".
