This is very important footage. It shows a real Sasquatch in the wild and tree breaks by him. It also shows his foot prints in the snow around where he tore out some trees. It has been said by many that this is the best footage since the 1967 footage by Patterson/Gimlin. I agree.

I'm not too sure I would put it in the same category as the Patterson footage, It looks like a good video, but for some reason the guy doesn't zoom in when the creature is ripping down the tree.

Sounds genuine in his reaction to seeing them.

Anyways, thought I would bring this here as they are touting it as close to the Patterson film, so I thought I would give us all a chance to see it.

Any thoughts?

The guys reactions sound authentic but the video you can clearly hear peoples voices off in the distance. I know for sure if I had been in that scenario recording what I thought was Bigfoot i would've at least zoomed in as much as I could to try to make out more detail. I think this is just one of the thousand of other fakes floating around the internet. How is this supposed to be best footage since the Patterson film anyways? I couldn't see any detail at all just a dark object a few hundred yards away that resembles a human.

Either it's a hoax or these are the dumbest guys on the planet.
Nice snow all around but they never bother to show tracks which would have been obvious.
The dialogue sounds scripted and it's shot like the Blair witch project.
"we're too close, let's get out here!" Find of the century (supposedly 40 yards from them) and yet they leave?

I still don't believe in bigfoot.

Around the 3:44 mark the video looked like it was edited. there was trees all around then the camera man was walking in a sort of clearing.

Okay, video is finally working.

Honestly, like most videos, this does not show anything that can be conclusive. Broken branches do not show proof of anything unfortunately.

The main part that stuck out to me though is right around the 4:00 mark. The alleged Samsqwanch starts breaking a tree down by grabbing it and shaking it back and fourth. From the camera view of this, and the 30 min later footage showing the "tree", it certainly does appear that Harry is having quite the struggle.

Considering most tales of Bigfoot put him anywhere between 7 to 10 feet tall, a 3" dia. tree should be like breaking a toothpick for the creature, which makes me more inclined to believe that this was a hoax, or at the very least, the cameraman was being hoaxed himself.

Anyways, interesting footage, and thanks for sharing

ETA: Also this quote from the youtube description:

Is a very big stretch. Comparing this footage to the Patterson film is like trying to score a homerun while playing Chess.

it's a younger tree so it's more flexible and harder to simply break. it has strong young roots and that's why it breaks from just under the soil. i'll give any guy of the same height and build to do that to an identical tree my eternal skepticism though if he can do that in 30 minutes or less.

my question is what are all the off camera echo-y voices in the background? and he should have gotten better stills/footage of the obvious footprints. also to he was already zoomed to the max when he filmed the tree bending, you can see him zoom to the max earliar in the vid.

interesting video, seemingly authentic reactions.

The still images in the beginning immediately make me question the authenticity of the video. The first image just looks like a tree that if viewed at the right angle resembles the old bigfoot photo.

The close up pictures of the broken branches in the snow are obviously small twigs. You can see the pine needles and specks of dirt next to them. They can't be bigger than a pencil. But they want you believe those are big tree limbs that a bigfoot broke.

The larger tree branch could have easily been broken by a man. Also the way the camera man holds the camera while walking seems unnatural.

If it were me and I was actually afraid of whatever it was. I would of held the camera at my side while moving, not caring about capturing a clear image. At least until I stopped or not film at all until I found a safe vantage point. Then I would zoom in and film.

The guy in the video carries the camera and walks with it. He pretends to be afraid but he seems to be more interested in what the lens is capturing than his own safety. He zoomed in once before there was anything to see, I think he doesn't zoom again on purpose because that would ruin this hoax.

I didn't believe any part of it. Made me laugh a bit though.

If thats what the branch looked like 30 minutes later, wouldnt it have made sense to use that half hour to gain a better vantage point? It would also have made sense to keep rolling rather than cut the cideo and just show the broken branch. I am sure if i tugged on that thing long enough I would be able to break it. I couldnt here the audio as I am at work but my opinion is that this is hoax. This guy had the golden opportunity to clearly film this thing especially since he was observing it for so long but he failed in epic proportions unless ofcourse he couldnt get too close as it would then become blatantly obvious that its his mate in a suit hence why it also took him 30 minutes to break the twig

Most of the broken branches that I saw remind me of just about any walk through the woods where I live......
with no Bigfoot sightings involved. Those are dead wood that is blown down in summer storms and fresh breaks can be seen after ice storms and snowfalls that are heavy and wet.

Not impressed.

Having watched the video, there are a few thigns that can be stated:

I looks like a hoax, and there are a few reasons why to state such:
1) There is no investigation going on by the camera man. He walks through the area, making noise, alot of noise, so any and all wildlife in the area would scatter to the wind.

2) If an creater is that big, would there not have been more defined foot prints in the snow? There was none what so ever, or hair or anything that would have been along with the bigfoot.

Besides everyone knows that bigfoot hibernates in the Winter.

It's the white haired Yeti aka abominable snowman that comes out during the snowy Winter months.

They should of at least done their bigfoot / sasquatch / Yeti homework

I pulled the audio and cleaned it up with Audacity (all I have)

Here is my work, anyone with better audio editing tools please feel free to try and isolate the background voices.
www.sendspace.com...

The Original video up loader said this about the voices on the video:

When you get to the tree shaking I can here voices or something in the background....was this from the creature?
Steveindajeep 6 days ago

@Steveindajeep Yes it was. That was the main reason I got so scared. Animal-like human? I'd always thought it to be but that was very shocking to witness.

not a bad video, i can honestly say i think I've seen better but the part that intrigued me was how fast the supposed Bigfoot was swinging the tree back and forth. Either there was a professional bodybuilder in the woods playing with trees or it could be a real sighting. (keep replaying the part when it's moving the tree)

This video should probably be renamed to "Broken twigs 'n stuff, oh, and my buddy pretends to be a Bigfoot". This is a perfect example of the kind of thing that makes me angry with supposed "Evidence" videos. Yet again, all we get are blurry, still images. Can nobody afford a good HD camcorder? Why didn't the guy zoom in on the supposed Bigfoot? Good cameras always, ALWAYS have an optical zoom limit in which everything is closer without any distortion at all, so why didn't he use it when he finally had a clear line of sight? This video is about as obvious a fake as possible, and if it isn't, that guy is very stupid to lose the shot of a lifetime.
As I said before in my first couple posts, I never go out without my HD camcorder with a Shotgun microphone attachment stuck on the shoe, that way I get epic video AND audio quality. I also have an IC recorder which hooks up to a PC, just in case I hear some of those crazy noises, that way it doesn't have that god awful quality of all the others I've heard. I avoid taking the Camcorder with me when I'm hunting, but I go into the forest almost everyday anyway, so I still end up having it most of the time. Even when I'm hunting, I always bring the IC recorder.
I've said before that I don't believe in Sasquatch, but since I'm out there so often, why not take my equipment? It's not like it gets in my way much. In case I actually do see something, I'll have epic quality video and audio. And why is it that when people see some broken twigs and a tree or two, they automatically assume It's a crazy monkey? LOL Obviously you have NEVER been out in the wilderness before, because if you had been, you would know big animals such as Moose, Elk, Bears etc, can and will break sticks apart. I was hunting Moose down south two years ago and watched from my tree stand as a Bull Moose bent and snapped a tree like it was a toothpick. They also rub their antlers against wood which causes lots of smaller twigs to fall off in the same area.
The stupidity of someone who doesn't have experience in the wild can be infuriating. I took my cousins girlfriend with us once, hunting Moose up in the NWT. We heard a bear a little ways up a trail that I was tracking a Moose on and she yelled to me that she just heard a Moose. I looked at my cousin and he was rolling over in the snow laughing. They sound NOTHING alike. Just like when people ask others about their Bigfoot sighting "Could it have been a bear on two legs?". That pisses me off to no end. A bear? A bear? Really? A bear? For real? Look, a bear can barely stand up, and when it does It's awkward. It matches the size of a supposed Bigfoot, BUT IT'S STILL A BEAR. A bear and a humanoid ape would look absolutely nothing alike.
Ok, I think I'm done ranting now. I'm not trying to make anyone mad or anything, just blowing off steam from a couple things that really really, annoy me regarding supposed Sasquatch encounters. And as I said before, If I see it, you'll have HD video and excellent audio of it, and I'll post it on this site before I go anywhere else with it. DENY IGNORANCE! lol

A professional body builder? That's ridiculous. That tree looked pretty small to me. It's not that hard to shake a small tree or even break them. That's a gigantic over exaggeration on your part. I used to break off small trees when I was like 14-15 years old to use them in bonfires, And I was a really small kid then. Me and my buddy at the time (Who was even smaller) would go out a couple days before the gathering and snap off 20-30 trees per evening until we had whatever we considered to be enough.

I'm calling shenanigans on this one, doesn't seem to have the size or the presence that a creature of the size of BF should project. IMNSHO this is as bad as the Freeman vid that to me is clearly a fake.

I think it's not credible. The voices in the distance seems to match how far away the "bigfoot" are. Also when they show some stills of the tree or branch one looks twisted until it broke not snapped off. Why would a bigfoot waste time destroying a tree with obvious human voices around?

HOAX!!! Where are all the footprints? Obvious deer prints and other animal prints seen in the footage...without even attempting to focus on those...Even hiking boot prints in some of the stills showing broken limbs...yet, there are ZERO prints around the downed tree at the end of the film...BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are very few human beings alive that can snap a three inch diameter tree/piece of wood...let alone a live tree...

I don't know where you got that idea from. I have often broken up pieces of wood that large to build fires with many times, and I am only 5'6" and 165lbs. Also if you look at the shots at the end of the video of the tree on the ground it is very plain to see that there is no growth, no branchs, and the root base seems not much bigger around than the tree itself. Basically it is a dead piece of wood stuck in the ground and being held up by what were very unhealthy roots to start with. If you spend any time in the woods at all you will run across trees like that pretty often, and they are easily pulled down by a person.

I got that idea from watching numerous professional ball players trying to break a baseball bat...guess what? Only a few can do it...deadwood is entirely different...

But, just for giggles...if you happen to be doing it again, and have access to a video camera, I would be interested in seeing you break a three inch diameter piece of live or deadwood...

Thanks...
