The guy who burried the person who was said to be Jessie james actually said himself that it was not Jessie who he burried. Treasure hunters also found some of Mr. james treasure. They found coins Jessie James burried under ground to pay people for guarding the real treasure. Alot of the coins were dated after Jessie James death. Also a picture of James when he was younger was matched with a picture of an old man people though was him. The 2 photos pretty much made a perfect match. Jessie James and his brother also had all charges on them dropped. Jessie james in the mind of some people was also considered a free mason in a secret society. The history books along with other documents could be completely wrong. Was his death really faked by the government or someone covering for Jessie to protect him and his brother?

Nope he was in that grave. In 1995 forensic scientist James Starrs exhumed the outlaw's body at Kearney, MO, for DNA tests. The results showed a 99.7% certainty that it was Jesse James who was killed in St. Joseph in 1882. And any treasure that was left behind was dug up by Frank James long ago. The only people that are getting any treasure out of this are the people selling tickets to the suckers looking for some made up treasure.

Will the St. Joseph, Missouri web site do? St. Joseph, Missouri I never understood why people were so fascinated with a backshooting coward like Jesse James.

People are fascinated with him because he robbed trains, he robbed banks, he robbed stores. He hid treasure and paid people to guard it by burying coins in jars underground so they guardians of the treasure could dig it up. Jessie James in some believers minds was a free mason along with his brother.
