AREA 51 has moved please forward the mail

well i have heard of stuff where planes are stored underground and only taken out during takeoff when conditions are right such as clouds to block satelittes and etc. then they have a camoflauged runway which is removed right before takeoff, ill show you what im talking about.

This story was told by a commercial pilot, who flies in a nearby airline. Some of his friends, who fly from Las Vegas to the Groom Lake and the Tonopah Test Range facilities, sometimes fly to Area 19.

When the pilot prepared to land, first he had to get clearance that there weren't any spy sattellites over Area 19. Then the runway, which was disguised to look like the ground, was watered by sprinklers. This made the runway stand out. The pilots got off and had to quickly get back on. The complex that the pilot entered was built to look like a series of hills.

The problem with this story? Well, enemy satellites can see in multiple wavelenghts. This usually sees through most camoflauge. Maybe the government has some sort of high-tech camoflauge that makes the facility camoflauged in every single wavelength, but I doubt it. Plus, with the airspace right over it, the facility would have to be noticed by someone.

Area 19 on the DOE range may contain underground testing for nuclear and other exotic weaponry. The high voltage line may be used to monitor or power some of the systems used to monitor the specific tests.

The only wierd thing is the DOE will take you on tours of most the Yucca Flats/Sedan test areas. Claiming that Area 19 is too far or not a accessable route is also used from the DOE people.

Again, I just think it maybe a test area that Sandia or Cal-Tech types use to test new concepts - maybe EMP weapons or neutron weaponry..

If had alien technology you could release small bits and pieces of it at a time. When you finally came out with the UFO everyone would think it was made right here with American tech.(they would have the nice USAF on it and every thing)

I mean look at the laser weapons we have now there pretty impressive, If say in 10 years the came out with a neutron particle beam weapon people might think thats a logical step we have laser weapons. But if they came out with that today it would be a little fishy.

These people are very smart if they had Alien tech we most likely would not even know it when we are using in our daily lives.

Also I understand that if they knew Aliens might be a threat countries like Russia, China, UK ect.. all the major players would be in the loop. But some countries would be left out perhaps a country like Mexico for a example.

If the US had Alien tech I think they might hide parts of it from even close Allies until they really need to know about it.

Plus think of the financial side money does make the world go round,
all the new patents for domestic usage that must come out of new technology. But who gets the dosh? The military or big companies in the know sshhh!.

Area 51 the place is a legend until you find area 52. To the people who answered area 51 has not moved i say u dont get it. The powers that be invented dis information, reverse psychology, mind games, etc. They use this to fool the people all of the time, some of the time. There are places on this planet so remote and totally secret that no satellite ever passes over or even if it did would see nothing. The question is as stated if you had something you wanted no one to see (until you were ready) you would hide it. Yes/No
Well is area 51 still the most secret location in the US or world as a matter of fact. I say No it is used for soon to be used technology and for major dis information. Large chunks of it is radio actively contaminated i believe or not as the case may be.
Come on its a white elephant. They need space to play with their new toys but not under the ENEMIES eyes n ears. China could look copy it and sell it cheaper and in no time at all. I respect the fact it is a military base and is used for military testing on standard weapons, vehicles, etc. But not the cutting edge stuff no way. One place mentioned in UK for US testing is an airbase with a very long runway (machrihanish) in scotland.

First of all, don't assume that belief in alien technology is some kind of a "given" to people who are interested in Area 51. I, for one, am far more interested in the REAL technology tests, past and present, that are based in Area 51 and the surrounding lands.

Second, I must ask, when was Area 51 EVER really secret? It's a top secret base, no doubt, but that doesn't mean that it's a secret. This isn't something that's been uncovered in recent years! It simply holds more interest to the public than it did before, due to television specials and Internet users.

So they expand their borders and install cameras at the borders, problem solved!

As for spy satellites, right - I remember reading about and listening to the radio communications of a plane labeled "Darkstar" a couple years ago. It was doing some crazy banking and accellerating stunts at night. So, sure, the military have secret projects and planes, and certain windows of opportunity to test them. That's a given!

Alien technology? This is a faith-based belief. Human technology is where it's at!!

It was meant to get ideas on locations of possibly the new Area51 (although i know area51 has not moved) if u get wot i mean.

I have that issue of PM its pretty old I think. I dont really understand how this guy was able to drive up to the area 51 gate and " I flash the car's headlights and lean on its horn. After 15 minutes of wearing down the battery, I quit. Disappointed"

I have never heard of any other person that has done that with out getting a vist from the camo dudes. I have also seen programs that show Janet airlines still doing flights out of Nevada since this PM article.

Im sure area 51 security would know that this guy was comming from miles away from the gate if not even long before that. And if this guy was going to write a article about area51 for PM what better thing to do then to make people think area 51 has packed up and left.

Right. I saw a comparison of recent satellite images that showed that construction was taking place and areas of the base were being changed around as recently as, I dunno, 2003 I think?

But indeed, the base is far from abandoned or out of service... They just put up those cameras around the border a couple of years ago.

I'll tell you how he did it. He made a wrong turn and got lost! What happened is he was on the wrong end of the mountain range. I studied this report to check my data for accuracy. The guy from PM was looking at the Nellis bombing range. The roads at Nellis do not have street signs. He was looking for Groom Lake Road, but ended up on Mailbox Road instead. He Was NEVER at Groom Lake that day! Since the security people knew he was in the wrong place, they left him alone and just observed from a hidden vantage point, adding to the illusion that he had discovered Area 51 and that it was abandoned. The Security poeple played their cards smart and let a nosy reporter explore his "Discovery", without tipping him off that he had made a mistake.

Disinformation works best when the government doesn't have any visible hands in the game!

Area51 is an urban legend. I stated my reasoning previously.

You can't have a secret base thats so totally not secret. It's more popular than disneyland (well known i mean). But if you think about it and i mean THINK about it, its a great place to show things to all those cameras in orbit. Hey im more than likely wrong i agree, but thanks for the links and responses for all i know and as a matter of fact you know, the fact is we don't know lol.

Would take a tour of the place though if in 20 years time it becomes a theme park

The airbase commonly known as Area 51/ Groom Lake certainly has not moved, nor has its set taskings been sent elsewhere, no US government agency releases sat pics of it, they're supplied by independant companies who do not answer to US secrecy policies except where places like Isreal is concerned. If you have the cash you can order pics of Groom or any other US installation. Construction, flight testing is ongoing, has not stopped, and isn't likely going to. Security has not let visitors in as it has been and is the premier research and development facility for advanced airframes, avionics and related systems. They do things there they can't get away with doing at Edwards because of security. The self styles UFOlogists can go down their merry path all they like, it makes the governments job much easier by letting them be so self delusional. Doesn't hurt having jouralists from major circulating magazines screw up by the numbers and get lost in the desert bombing ranges either. Everyone who has done actual research and taken opinion or expectations of what they want to see when they go there comes up with the same conclusion. It is still there, on a wind blown mountain base next to a drylake bed. The place where legends are born.

It has been a cover up since day one. They moved along time ago but kept you guys really really ... As for invasion of privacy - if you seriously don't mind being monitored in the ways that you described then why do you care if you even live in a free society?
